You need the green connector connected to the clock spring and the other end to the airbag for the horn to work. When u push the airbag its metal frame contacts the steering wheel metal and completes the horn circuit. If you don't have it and Wana just use a wire, it connects to the left most pin on the green connector block to the airbag Lemmie know if you want the service manuals for it. For problem solving and stuff

That year, Subaru disables cruise control whenever there is a CEL on. The other connection in the steering wheel I believe is for steering wheel controls.

Great videos -- i am impressed that you don't get tired of going up and down on ramps to do work. I worry about falling off the ramps every time I head up onto mine.

Take out a stabilizer. Looks much better with just 2. Swap them frs seats into the sti. Also I'd recommend picking up some new bumper clips for the side of the bumper where it keeps popping off. The more you take that bumper on and off it's going wear down those clips AND where the clip into on the bumper side. Had that issue on my 06 as well. 🤙

Pretty sure you will need the correct steering wheel and clockspring for that year. Was looking to put hawk wheel on my blob and I'd also need clockspring.

You might have a wrx clock spring instead of a sti one, I think they are different.

In your second or first video when you got this STI, there was a hanging white wire under your STI, I saw it in the video and you just didn’t notice it, jack your car up, plug it and I guess it will take care of your speed sensor issue

I dunno about the STI but my mustang had speed sensors in each wheel hub also. I had one sensor go bad and it kicked me out of cruise and wouldn't let me go faster than 55 or go above like 2k RPM. But like I said, I'm not sure if those cars have them in the wheel hub also.

hey mate, your cruise control is dibbled because the engine lights on, and the green wire that plugs into the airbag is for the horn. let me know if it works. good luck bud... all the way from Aussieee!!! oiii oiii oiii

Wagons are different tails. Sedan bumpers needs to have the round dip at the bottom corner of taillight which started in 2004

Subaru Rally cars used them. I don’t know for what purpose but makes the rally car look bad ass. I’m sure they dont serve any purpose on street cars other than look

Just a guess but i would imagine at high speeds you would get a small amount of vibration/flex in the wing which could affect its air flow and downforce effectiveness. So the "stiffies" just make more rigid. Probably not a very noticable amount tho. But I suppose more important for rally where milliseconds matter. As truman adam said not sure there much point on street cars apart from looks
