Carson Schifsky I agree I love my 250 I’ve put 6700 hours on it and it’s still going strong! It’s a 2011, they burn a lot less fuel than the new ones too!
Tracks spinning in the snow! I demoed this machine I believe it weighs 2000 lbs less than your tl130. It has plenty of power for its size . Just wasn't for me . Very loud inside cab . Rough ride even with new track design riding on rubber now instead of steel on steel . Could not hear the radio with throttle up. I needed something that would lift pallets, have more reach and lift height. I bought 2018 bobcat t595 sjc roller suspension, air heated seat. Smooth ride and quiet cab . Lifts pallets of brick, plenty of reach and height. Liked the machine so much I bought another. I demoed a lot of machines being in business for 25 years. I have always been led back to bobcat. My next choice would of been John deere 317g . Lifts pallets also has good reach and height. Nice cab . Cat 259d cab was to tight , slow hydraulics lift and tilt. Terrible visibility to rear , cat has kubota engine with cat fuel system.
I came from the kubota world and my experience with the Kubota SVL65 track loader was don’t get the wide tracks on a machine of that power because we found it was even worse for bogging down while turning then the narrow tracks.. also the controls are pilot hydraulic.. Low pressure oil controlling the servos on the pump no EH controls on these just like the kubota.. great video guys!
I love the my TL8 and bought it because my TL 130 was great don’t like the door on that new TL six gets in the way when you need to get out of the machine when you have an implement on
Roll up door would of been impossible with low roof line. These are compact machines and designed different for reasons. This machine will fit in tight areas like grading garage and basement floors. If you want roll up door purchase a tl8r2. Dont quit your day job
I'm looking to replace my older Takeuchi TL130 with this tl6r. Looks like you guys have had this machine for awhile now. Does this new tl6r offer the same power and capability as the TL130 did? I'm hoping it offers the same performance. If not I may have to jump up to the tl8. Thoughts?
tl6 is to small. we looked at a tl8 for $49,800.00 but the emissions scared us off with the burn off and all. Cat was $11,000.00 more for a 259d with then same goodies and we went with that because cat has no burn off.
Case and Takeuchi...two brands that used to be players, but are pretty much irrelevant in the North American market now except for small pockets. I like your enthusiasm in the video.
Howdy don't know rather have a bobcat not a expert but what I've seen on utube the cat or bobcat seems better just my opinion Merry Christmas to you and your family Peace
I have a 2023 TL6. I bought it to replace my bobcat t190. When I first got the TL6 I had active power control on and thought the machine was under powered and actually disappointed in my purchase. Then I turned active power control off and what a difference. You can actually push the machine to its limits and it has plenty of power for any job I’ve thrown at it. Active power control robs the machine of performance and I think is more for beginner operators who often don’t know how to use a machine to its full potential without stalling it.
I ran a new tl12 the other day was horrible compared to my 299d2 cat and most sloppy controls I have ran I thought bobcat was bad but bobcat is a dream compared to the Takeuchi and on the tl12 visibility was basically non existent in the back and side other than the camera
Tommy Boswell I have to disagree with you there, to me you can’t beat the visibility of the Takeuchi TL250/12 the cabs are bigger and sit up higher than the 299 plus the 250 is full pilot controls so there is no hesitation what so ever. Cats are ok just not for me
THAT MACHINE IS WAY TOO FAR OFF TO BE A CAT KILLER...THE TAKEUCHI IS LIKE A TOY TOO SMALL & TOO WEAK...HAVE A GOOD DAY... I'M OFF TO WORK...RAIN RAIN GO AWAY...
