Its just occurred to me that I never discussed the Hours in this video, The machine had 3980 hours on it when I got it which is a bit higher than Id like but I talked to several people who said it wasn't hard to imagine getting 8000+ out of the engine and pumps so that should last me quite a while!

Don't know why but those particular shocks don't hold up between services. We serviced ours regularly and everytime I had to change the shocks. But there are certain people you just want to see have a run of good luck/fortune or just want to see have an easy time of it!! You sir are 1 of those people I root for!! Simply because you always seem to just roll with the punches, you may get aggravated but!!! Tend to get over it quickly accept your have to do such n such and just do it!! Not a ton of complaining and seem to be at least on camera to be an up beat person!!! People like you are the ones I always root for!!! Keep up the hard work and great attitude!! May your family be and stay blessed!!!

Had a guy in my section in the Army (years ago) who was my/our farm bred mechanic who was top notch in keeping former Korea gear going...Lucky to have a guy like that around just like this guys ability to "refurbish/renew" equipment ....Thanks for your skills...

I'd say this machine did you a favor. I would prefer all this stuff happening right away. It's nearly as good as preventitive maintenance? Sure beats having it all break when you are behind schedule on a job and don't have easy access to tools and parts.

Good video over the years of buying mostly all used equipment I come to the conclusion It always comes down to the previous owner once you get their bad habits out of the machine you'll have a good piece. 💯💪🏼💯

I'd love one of these. I have a year of jobs for one. For my uses- on the farm and in the timber and in lots and lots of mud- I'd imagine I'd want a tread that is much chunkier with a deeper lug. If you're doing actual paying dirt work with one I can see wanting a smoother tread. I'm always impressed by your ability and sheer guts to just dive right into any project regardless of complexity. I'd have been cursing a blue streak and throwing a fit after the second setback. Nothing but respect man! Keep it up!

I was surprised that the tracks and sprokets were "only" $4,000. Easy to say sitting in my recliner watching you spend YOUR money but I would have guessed them to be about $10K. Based only on my knowledge of how much people bitch about having to replace them. Great video, I enjoy all the content you put out there, thanks for the hard work!

Yes, my thoughts were same and only took one minute forty seconds to replace the track on the left side.

The McLaren ones would be $20K. The Koenigsegg would be $100K.

Great buy Diesel...I still like the old school Cat 977, it has AC in the winter, and heat in the summer lol!

Open station for summer is turn the fan so it blows air forward if it doesn't already and there is a canvas tube that fits over the radiator to blow hot air back to the operator for winter operation, my father in law operated one of these monsters in Milwaukee for years.

I got a NH L775. Same thing. Coldest day of the year, and I can get that thing down to a crisp -40 in just seconds. Really saves on sweaty hands on the controls. All mechanical. Even the radio. Turn the power on, and I sing. (To myself.)

I would be worried about the starter drive gear wearing out the flywheel ring gear since there is only about half of the gear left. Puttting in a new starter might save you from pulling the pump and bellhousing in the not to distant future.

I was thinking the same thing. Future video: pulling the pump (or engine if unlucky) to replace the ring gear...
