its an interesting tower. I like its ability where gas stays in one spot and spreads to other zombies that walk through it. I like the rewind feature too, though I would also like to see "retry/replay" option since I'm a lazy guy who doesn't want to spend a minute in the lobby.
QOF ideas: Automatic ability: on top of the ability button theres a automatic sign if you press it, it automatically clicks the ability for you ( Dosen't affect aiming abilities ) Map rotation: Select a tank and have menu buttons that can make you choose the map, game mode, players allowed etc etc... Play again: simple whenever you lose or win you can choose either to exit or play again. Loadout: when you tap on a player their loadout, level, etc etc apears above them. And that's it.

From what it looked like, it appears it’s a different type of HP and I think it takes less damage but once it’s all gone the normal health will be damaged the same, which could mean new units with “shield piercing” could happen
Amazing update! The rewind ability is absolutely amazing. The reconnective feature is also very nice to have. I hope to see more updates on beginner stuff as these updates primarily focus on intermediate to expert players to make the game enjoyable for all levels of players.
Imagine if they add a retry feature, where you go back yo wave 1 with starting cash, so you don't have to go to the lobby to try again, it's faster, and you can use it when dying, or winning.
random thought I had while playing the game, a new unit: spy this units paths would be the exact opposite of each other, one would be medium dps but wouldn't be able to be targeted by the bosses, the other has worse dps, but has an ability to trade its untargetableness for 2 vector smg's and a bomb that would deal 10,000 to the strongest enemy within range for 10 seconds. also, untargetableness is an innate feature.
Thank you for optimizing for xbox, the menu is a little bit bad but we can play it normally (xbox doesn't have chat with is a problem for co-op but it's really fun playing) (Sorry if my english is bad)
john my friend showed me this game it’s pretty fun I love it because I used to play balloon tower defense of the App Store so this game 100/10 it’s so fun!
Pretty sure I'm not the only one who'd guess that, but I'm kind of getting the vibes there was a peak of how hard Nightmare is gonna be since my guess is, it introduces the shield mechanic which we saw in the testing which also btw. seems very op. So good luck fighting that.
It would be cool and realistic for the hazmat enemies like the Hazmat Zombie and Toxic Wastes to have a chemical defense, as they are wearing hazmat suits.
Hey john I would say make skin crates like 3 different ones that give buffs the more expensive like maybe 50-100k cash would give skins for war ship, juggernaut etc those expensive towers and one buff would give like 90% less damage but have top path toxic damage and or really high attack speed or damage buffa
cool feature idea that will not be implemented. A button near your tower slots which if pressed will activate your towers abilities all at once. Will it be useful? maybe will people who have a bunch of aimed towers hate misclicking it yes will it allow me to spawn 60 humvees in 1 second yep
only one that maybe you could argue is an upgrade is ranger to operator but the grenade and car ability makes it different enough (also ranger being the cheapest bait tower)
@@n1o_ They all serve the same niche purpose. Ranger, Operator, and Laser Gunner all are the same exact “across the board stats with relatively quick firerate” but each one is still a direct upgrade to the other. This COULD be mitigated if the game had more options, but it really feels like you need these specific upgrades to even challenge harder difficulties. It’s less strategic and more “grind until you get the better tower and win.” Tl;dr, the game incentivizes grinding and immediately discarding your previous towers (only to be used as stun bait) without giving them the opportunity to be evenly balanced across the board.
@@Croissantcreep you make a fair point with that tbh, its something most tower defense games on rblx struggle with (cough cough tds) but i dont think its as bad with tdx as the abilities and 2 paths make the playstyles at least somewhat different, looking at it again tho laser gunner does feel like a straight upgrade to both of them
Hey John, after playing tdsx for a while now I realize that when you’re trying to que with other people it’s harder to get other people into the map you’re wanting to play in or you have to run around looking for people that aren’t trying to run duo or single matches so I think that you should add the que menu that tds has that you can pick either solos duos three ppl or quads so it makes it easier to get into a match. Sorry the grammar is a bit bad lol
John will there be an tower who ignores the armor?(not the resistance, i mean the blue shield)like when an zombie or resurrected juggernaut has the blue shield the tower will still do damage(the green bar goes down not the blue)
John u should add a tower like flamethrower or the tds tower pyromancer it would be cool to have such a tower like that and it would be a good starter tower
I loved how all the other defeat multiple bosses quest are named like "plague takedown) or (eradicated) while the one for review plaught doctor is "stay down bud' idk why it's so funny to me
Hey John how about you make balloon enemy and make some tower have the flying detection like sniper make it only the splash towers and long range towers would detect them like a max top path lasergunner
I have a little bit of a suggestion, you don't need to add it but I just think it would be cool. What if you made a tower that is a wall and it gets higher health the more you upgrade it, and each path is has different protection, explosion and BOOLETPROOF armor.
Tbh I was half expecting the enemies with hazmat suits to suddenly gain a poison gas immunity after he said all this to prevent it from being soloable half the time
