I like the u-shape arrangement, it's a good start and takes up less room. Your other areas are looking pretty good. You did get some good advice about blind spots. Don't worry about fancy decor and pretty stuff, just keep it attractive and kid friendly. Then you can add as you go. It does sound like your school is a great place for a new teacher and support is important for everyone. I taught for 46 years and needed support throughout my career although the kind of support changed. Looking forward to following your progress. Oh dear way too wordy.
I’m in the same boat!! New kindergarten teacher after graduating with a bachelors in ECE in 2016 🫣 but I have been teaching at an early childhood program for the past 7 yrs. I felt that “where are my kids going to go while I work?” because I have a 7 yr old as well. We will figure it out!! And congrats 🎉 hope you have a great yr!! 😊
Hey girl! I could be wrong, but by the looks and color of your classroom, I used to work for the same company. I embroidered 2 cardigans and left them at the school for the week, that way I was in uniform while wearing what I wanted with it. Also, I’m pretty sure your room was originally meant to be office space, sorry!
You’re gonna rock your first year. Don’t be afraid to go against the grain. You don’t always have to do it the way your lesson plan says to!! Good Bless!!!
