They are indeed some fine boots! And yeah, I was just noticing recently on their web site that they're only available now in black calfskin and 3 different colors of goatskin.
I LOVE your cowboy boots, Ted!! I've LOVED cowboy boots since I was little! I have a broken-in brown pair with a more pointed toe and stitching on the toe. I wear mine with loose jeans, jerseys and even shorts!! I LOVE the stitching on the toe of cowboy boots. I think it makes them stand out more. I LOVE how they make me look taller. I'm 5'10" and I wear size 12. Cowboy boots need their own paid holiday!! :) :) I feel the SAME way you do about cowboy boots! 👍😎😊👊 I want a black pair next, maybe with the metal toe taps on them!! Can't wait!!
They are holding up quite well. I'm not very hard on shoes and I take care of them. They still look almost like new. You can see them after 6 months in my video I did on the cafe goat Earl.
@@lja1665 The Earls are much more comfortable with the soft goatskin and lower roper heel. But the Cartwrights are really classy looking boots that can go with a suit or jeans. I would hate to have to pick one over the other.
Great boots. Very substantial leather. My toes do get a little jammed due to the higher heel but that will probably change as the boots age. Order your normal size and width.
If I can find shoes that are wide enough, I can almost always wear a 9. The Tecovas seem to be pretty true to size. They come in medium and wide. The 9 wide fits me fine. I would pick the same size and width as a dress shoe that fits well.
Funny how an Ariat boot commercial fronts this video. No thanks Chinese made Ariat, I'm waiting on my Tecovas to arrive at my door. ( Mexico has a looong history of making western boots; cowboy boots should be made by westerners, not the far east.)
You do know that Ariat makes boots in Mexico and USA as well? Yes they have Asian made boots but the more affordable budget friendly option for those that need that particular lineup. I have Ariats made in Mexico and my Tecovas are obviously made there as well. Both companies build solid boots.
