Hey what's up man - I bought these boots at 11.5 standard (a half size down from my true to size) these were great sizing for cartwrights.

Hey thanks for the question! So I’m happily married - no idea and it’s of no importance to me lol. But my own fashion and fits matter to me and when i wear cowboy boots i do feel confident and they are a statement, especially in Florida/in the city away from the country. And i think it stands out for my cultural background too 🇵🇭 but I’ve gotten several compliments from other dudes who also wear boots/looking to get into wearing boots!

For me my TTS in shoes is size 12, so I took Tecovas’ recommendation and went 1/2 a size down. So now I own 4 pairs of their boots in 11.5D! You want that snug fit that with slight heel slippage. It will break in eventually. Deff don’t get one too loose. Great news is their customer service is A-1, so trying on and exchanging from online orders is super easy if you can’t get to their actual stores.

So I’d try 11 if i were you for Tecovas boots

hey man - so the journey to finding perfect jeans is something i'm still doing! some days i like the more fitted look, other times i want something more boot cut with a flare. but my safe fit has always been a straight cut. for me, i prefer not to let my pants "stack"/have those ruffles over the boot shaft from having longer pant length. that's just me though, as a lot of guys like it when it looks like that. i make sure i get proper fitting pants on waist, get the right leg width, and then hit the length where i want it. i've also gotten pant lengths hemmed to shorten them to where i want it. bottom line - i (and most everyone) agrees that if your pants are too tight, and it shows the print of the boot shaft - that's a big no. gotta find wider pant legs. last thing - there are boot straps that wrap the shaft to hide that silhouette/let you wear slimmer pants if you wanna try that. i bought a brand called snake boots and they help! here are pants that have helped me find the sweet spot of a fit over western boots: - target straight leg - costco canvas pants hope this helps!

They’re not super shiny. Just a soft supple leather. I’m sure you can get it shiny if you work on them.
