The trailer kinda tells me that the monsters are not the main focus of the game. You don't see the people with or against monsters. The focss seems to be very much based on building with a bit of help from monsters and not building FOR your monsters. And with all the sci-fi themed stuff this kinda reminds me more of No Man's Sky.

My impression was a combination of Planet Crafter, Palworld and No Man's Sky. The trailer also had elements of the some other survival games such as Subnautica and Light No Fire.

Honestly this reminds me less of Palworld and more of No Man's Sky but with more anime-ish aliens obviously. On the topic I can't imagine a game this elaborate was made in just the few short months after Palworld came out and proved there was a market for monster taming survival games so its weird to assume Tencent made this to "rip them off" lol.

Knowing Tencent, this might be a great looking game, but coming up with an infinite amount of micro-transactions to keep sucking up the pockets of their addicted players. Close enough to be inspired by Palworld, but different enough to differentiate itself. I'll keep an eye out, but I'm doubtful of the end result even though mixing No Man Sky with Monster taming gameplay is an interesting idea.

I would love an open world game that doesn't take the survival game route. Don't get me wrong, I like pal world, but I just want to play the monster taming bits, not the survival bits. Nexomon 3 seems to be the only game like that so far.

I’m fine with the survival parts (they tend to be pretty easy anyway), but wish these survival exploration games would embrace mobile base building the way Raft has. Like as much as I enjoy base building I really only want to have to do it once because setting up multiple bases kills game momentum and feels redundant after like the second one.

I do kind of love the idea that it looks like it's on an alien planet so it kind of explains why there aren't pokemon on earth, oh actually all of them are aliens. It's basically pokemon subnautica but also land.

Not gonna lie it looks ok but this is just a caption trailer, knowing Tencent this is gonna be monetized out the ass like a free to play game and I don't do those kinda games. With Palworld it feels like a game that has potential to grow. This feels like a less depressing No Man's Sky. But i'll wait to see where it goes.

When I think of Tencent, I think of unnecessary additional installations behind the scenes. They may not do that here, but I still don't trust them. I'm wary as hell of Chinese games for this reason, and for good reason. I hope they release a good game. As for the game itself, I'll list my critiques as brief bullet points. - Fall Guys + No Man's Sky + Subnautica + Palworld. That's what it looks like. - Don't like how the little monsters all share the same bean body. That's boring and uninspired. - The larger beasts look out of place, like assets that were meant for another game. - There is no gameplay footage, so there is no way to have a real opinion about the actual game. Just assumptions based on a video, and assumptions are bad. - I'm really not feeling this one. At all. It doesn't look interesting at all from what they've shown. - Everything shown is just the usual stuff you always see, even if you don't always get it. I see no promises or guarantees. Having Palworld to compare it to is unfair. Even the knockoff designs in Palworld have a ton of character to them, but these things? No soul.

This seems to take the elements of both Palworld and potentially No Man Sky which if it takes more from No Man Sky would be pretty cool such as going to different planets and taming aliens would be unique now yes I know both the trailer and the steam page neither elude to this or state this. That's just my speculation.

I hate Tencent with a passion, but even if I leave that aside; this game looks bad. No Man's Sky I can deal with, it's just kinda bland; but the monsters? I just saw big lizard (tm), 6-7 fall guys skins and an even uglier butterfly fall guy with an elephant trunk. Not going to touch this even with a ten mile pole.

I think if they don't have ways for the monsters to interact with various game systems it wont go over that well.. If pals didn't help you build, craft, harvest, and help in battle the game would lose alot of its charm and interest. If they just make a game where you capture creatures and all they are good for is cheering you on, or fighting... I feel the point was missed. It will just feel like a tacked on feature.

Kinda looks like a typical base building survival game. The monsters look cute but also very same-y, there's also different species that just look like generic alien models. I'm always skeptical of anything Tencent is involved in so it may be my own negative bias speaking a little. I'm kinda tapped out of survival crafting games as well, there's just too many games in that particular subgenre and I've played the good ones for too long. Long story short, I'm probably not gonna play this.

My problem with survival crafting games is that most of them look promising, but eventually still lack many things that make me want to play them. Especially regarding crafting, i want to be able to build anything i can think of. I tried playing Fortnite Lego, mainly because someone wanted to play it with me, but i freaking hate that game, it lacks everything that makes a survival crafting game fun, and is a great example of how not to do it.

I wouldn't call this a Pal World Clone, Doesn't feel like Pal World at all, feels like a Space Survival game, if anything it looks more like a No Man's Sky clone with how you get resources. That said, doesn't look nearly as appealing to me as Pal World Did from the get go. With Pal World I was on board from the first Trailer drop, with this I feel no desire to buy or ignore this game yet.

Well the monster taming mechanic in this game looks like Palworld but yes it mostly No Man's Sky gameplay and graphic so it pretty much like 70% No Man's Sky + 30% Palworld.

There is a few trailers and this one Ed use might not be best example. In the description of this game on mobile version on Google play does mention training and catching. "Explore the wonders of the cosmic realm. Collect, build, tame, evolve, and strategize with your diverse array of cosmic pals and alien creatures! Catch 'em All, Train 'em Well & Make 'em your best pals and trusty companions to survive the unknown but adventurous world!"

Never heard of you or this game before your video popped up. I'll say this, China is all smoke and mirrors, this trailer looks like a generic regurgitation of different game genres (typical unoriginal Chinese product) with missing sound fxs/cheap sound design, rigid animations, some questionable creatures designs, fake "mobile game" vibes.. It looks like a cash-grab, I wouldn't trust it, especially with Tencent's grubby mits all over it.

Im hoping to see more footage, because so far this just reeks of concept footage that wont at all be indicative of whats actually in the game, but Ill keep an eye on it. Always hopeful for more monster taming games, but at the same time the Steam page also says this is an MMO...so we'll see. At least with Palworld Im still playing by myself unbothered by anyone else. Right now, even with friends, the Palworld reddit and discord are talking about a bunch of trolling going on and hounding devs for ways to prevent their own friends from doing certain things. Thanks, but no thanks.

Is this offline if not that's bs because if it is online only it likely takes expensive computer I've noticed this problem a lot the last few years good games are going more online when they don't have to consoles getting neglected by genres they help to create or only most expensive consoles us Nintendo fans being left out claiming that switch is to weak when it's not, Hogwarts legacy was originally over 80 gigs but switch version works with only 15 though would be better with 20 or 25 which it is fully capable around 40 from what I've found the physical card can hold 32 so could have held more polished Hogwarts legacy fine

This looks interesting enough... but I don't want to spend my whole time in a space suit. I prefer to see my character, earn new outfits, and hair styles and stuff like that. Faces are important. Space suits just give me the feeling that my character isn't a real person, but some robot. I know that's not the intent, but that's the feel it usually has. Same thing happened when I played Starfield. Just couldn't keep playing it. Even on your space ship, with atmosphere and breathable air inside, still had to wear a space suit. Maybe the devs will see this comment, and think about not making us spend all time on this new planet in a space suit.

This whole situation is kind of hilarious to me, it seems like it’s just all the people who decided palworld was totally fine for stealing designs from Pokémon now freaking out for…. Essentially the same thing now that it’s palworld being stolen from? Eh I hope it’s at least an interesting game in the end; I’m not sure it’s worth all the drama though

wether this will be a good game or not. having more competition for Pokemon is a good thing. Maybe this will make them actually put more effort into developing better pokemon games

This game has an uphill battle because of the Tencent baggage, so I'm gonna need to see some proof in this pudding, like what Pocket Pair is doing.

Video games have always been iterative, taking concepts and systems from other games that have proven popular. I don't see much Palworld in this trailer but def. all the other references people are making. The only other one I would add would be Fortnite with the character designs and their mention of festivals and events. I have a hard time ever trusting anything Tencent has full control over but anything that helps get more games in the survival/taming/building genre is good for me.

It does not look too appealing currently but I like survival games with gimmicks that are interesting. I will be interested to know how they try to take their spin on it and if it will be interesting
