Except he has always been this way. He thought he was on the same level as Fred and Jackie and even Robin. I remember when he was doing the awful questions to celebrities bit. And he was complaining that he was making too many enemies in showbiz which would prevent him from getting a record contract. Not realizing that his popularity from the biggest radio show in history would actually be a springboard to success. Not an obstacle. The dumbest guy who thinks he smart is who he is to the core.

If John planned this from his last Cumia interview, he deserves some kind of Oscar. He would be celebrated as a true genius. He created a character that has no redeeming qualities at all, brilliant. Also, when John had his little revelation after the Collective Soul concert, he just ate a lot of edibles. As soon as it wore off he went back to normal.

Should be noted, Wernicke-Korsikoff syndrome (AKA alcohol-induced dementia), while being a bit different for all sufferers of it, has some commonalities and some familiar symptoms. One such symptom is an inability to formulate new memories. Is John pretending to be especially stupid, or is he really struggling to remember more and more of his life?

Why should Karl not be able to enjoy a night in Rochester with John? John challenged Blind Mike to an IQ test and Mike has accepted his challenge. Karl should absolutely be there! John, you shouldn't rage quit a show that's supposed to be a awesome night for you, live at Comedy at the Carlson, just because you have beef for reasons that aren't logical. This is a chance for everybody involved and all fans/viewers to have an enjoyable experience. Even if John loses he still walks away with an audience watching him on RU-vid.

He's always been a conundrum within a kerfuffle. His interview with that lady who had a relationship with that guy from the Eagles yesterday was surprisingly normal (speaking relatively) and for the umpteenth time now I've seen some humanity in John, and again the words of Anthony Cumia ring in my ears about whether all of this is a grand act on the scale that makes Andy Kaufmann seem uncommitted to his wrestling role. Sometimes I even wonder if all the characters in the Dabbleverse are in on it and working together...
