Hi Agumon5 ... My spouse and I ordered a Park Model RV in October from HomeCo in Cumby, Texas, which is an affiliate of RRC. We have been told it will be delivered late March to early April. So far, the process has been ok. We ordered a model from the Athens line. We did have to sign a paper that said we were aware and agree to accept building materials that may contain formaldehyde and off-gassing may occur. We ordered the model 150 with some alterations to the floor plan, added 2 windows, got a nice sink, etc. We came in at just over 50K + tax. Don't forget to add the .0625 percent Texas sales tax to the purchase price. From what I understand now, the prices have increased and the delivery time could be as much as 10 months out, depending on the model ordered. We do plan to use it as our full-time retirement home and we ordered it with the main entrance on the side. We plan to add on to it and almost double the square footage. Why go to that trouble? Well, we purchased some lots in an RV-only gated community and we can build on to any RV, but we have to start with an RV. I usually watch the "Tiny Home Tuesday" series and will post updates on the progress and the final outcome. MR. TINY - I do think it would be good business practice to assign each client to an "Account Manager" ... a POC for every client who is under contract. ALSO ... BUYERS SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED EXTRA FOR ORDERING WHITE CABINETS.

Your comment Sandra's 11 months ago so I don't know if you've been watching these but he does offer some larger tiny homes they're not the 399 square feet which makes them a recreational vehicle versus a homestead if you add more square footage it becomes a homestead in the state of Texas and on a homestead you have to pay annual taxes... We're on a less than $400 recreational vehicle you don't pay the state tax whatever they call it I'm not sure but it is from your city and your state just FYI and yeah he's got one that's $625 ft I think one that's 800 oh yeah so he does have them I don't remember the name of the model cuz I watched so many of these but and besides that they do definitely work with you to customize yours but anything you change of course if it costs more money to actually do they're going to charge you that extra money but that's same with anything that you would buy well you can buy a fox and Jacob's house which they only make anymore how's my first house and you can add to it you can add wood floors versus the carpet that they usually do but you pay for the update so that's the same way with recreational resort cottages just I didn't know if you knew this and like I said I watch some of these videos I just wanted to respond he does show those I think he shows those on Sunday

@@obiomaonyeobia4870 It is for PROPER ventilation. Fans help but do not work as well as a window. Also it is for safety. If the power goes out you are in a dark room with many tripping hazards. Windows are a MUST REQUIREMENT for bathrooms.

You made a good point. Probably due to limited space, installing one is not practical. I will keep the door open if not in use.

When he does that, he should tell us how high the roof is. Important to know for those of us who live in a park that allows us to own one that has height restrictions.

You can't get much bigger if you want any closet space. I don't spend that much time in the bedroom, and could make do with no problem.

You could probably make the breakfast bar a closet
