Jesus Christ thanks! I was badly scrolling down for this comment as I don't have time to look at people's face while they are talking and talking on the screen...
Teacher here- Love the variety, and that many activities can grow with her-challenging kiddos just enough helps both keep them engaged and make learning strides. Great job mama!
Homeschooling my junior high daughter right now. Don’t know why this video was recommended, but it makes me miss when my kids were this age! Enjoy this time!
Oh fun! I've seen people make busy bins for older children too. ❤ Yes! I'm trying to treasure these little years. It's already going TOO fast for me! 😭
You had me at Christ ♡ excited to see your content. I'm prayerfully considering homeschooling my kiddos from this 2021/2022 year if it's the Lord's will!
Me too!! Private Christian school is very expensive. We are able to get a 75% scholarship but are still required to pay 3,000 per child. We have three children and as a stay at home mom, Financially and Spiritually, I feel like this is something I should do for my family. It’s a little overwhelming and requires focus and organization. 🤔😦 Lord help me. Help all of us mamas do your Will and raise your precious children as warriors for your Kingdom. In Jesus name. Amen.
@@helenbekind8486 we had them in Christian shcool too until we had our third and on one income my husband didn't see it as feasible. We now have 4 and the thought of homeschooling is quite overwhelming but with the current state of the world and things to come down the line. The things our children are being exposed to seems more toxic than ever. I have been praying for the Lord's confirmation to know that this is the path he has for us. I finally have that confirmation so I guess it's time to just jump in. I'm so thankful for my friends some of which are veterans others just a few years. It helped so much having Sisters in Christ to lean on. I never thought of the cost savings for Christian education! That's a great Point thanks for sharing :)
BRILLIANT tips about the stickers! I have a sticker lover and he loves doing things by himself but gets frustrated that he can’t pull them off by himself. Love this video overall 🥰 thank you for taking the time to share!
Yes! I LOVE anything Melissa and Doug! My just has a baby that is about 1 and a half. I asked if she knew about Melissa and Doug toys. She said no. I said, "Oh just wait! It'll come." 😂
This is such a cool and neat idea. Heck, I want to play some of them 🤣💕 Thanks for sharing these tips. I love how organised this is. Why are there nothing for saturday and sunday though?
I have been attempting to make toddler bins. This is so helpful. I have all these toddler things on shelves where she can reach. NEVERENDING MESS. I'm so excited to get them all behind closed doors and to bring out rotating bins. Work in progress.
Thank you SO MUCH for these ideas!!! I have a tip to add: I know you chose a book for the stickers but another way that keeps my toddler from stickering up the whole house is to take a long strip of (colored) contact paper from Dollar Tree and put in on the wall, from the floor to as high as my child can reach, and have that be the designated sticker wall. This really helped to make a safe space for stickers and I don’t find them on the floors and chairs and actual walls, anymore…as much. 😂
Yes! They're PERFECT! The only thing is they don't fit in the cubby style shelves from IKEA. So I keep them in a cabinet in the kitchen. It still works! 👍
You’re a veteran mom in my eyes! I’ve tried so hard to engage my two year old twins in Montessori toys, which they love but wouldn’t always play with for long. Finally, I realized that outdoor play improves their mood and concentration when we so come back inside. The learning curve of motherhood.
So glad I found the channel! I have just entered entertaining my one year old while HS my 8 year old and we have some sensory activities but the daily bins is a great idea.
Not a kiddo anymore, but if this is what is waiting for me, oh yeah, let's get it on!!! Love everything in the boxes. As always, as my husband says "Your laugh is contagious" hahhaaha Keep inspiring!
Usually I just listen patiently through a RU-vidr's summary of their channel and reminder to subscribe, but something about your personality had me hitting subscribe the sentence before you asked 🙂 Definitely looking for ideas to keep my toddler busy during this crazy cold week here in Texas.
Thank you for these! I will be beginning kindergarten homeschool this upcoming year but also have an in home daycare... these are great ideas for my toddlers while I’m busy doing kindergarten! Thank you thank you!!!
Thank you for the wonderful ideas! I already have some really fun things for my toddler but tomorrow I’m going to make her some busy bins to keep them organized! 👍🏼😊
I only allow 30 min of screen time. And I let them decide when they want to use it. That is specifically for tablets...we're still working on less TV. 😉
@@PursuingPeace I love so much that you engage with your audience. Really serves as a true mentorship. Thank you for answering. So you'd say, you watch more than 30 mins of TV a day? And what are they allowed to watch?
This is great. My daughter is 15 months now and loving her independent play time so this is a great idea to give her some structure. Thanks for the inspiration. Im new to your channel so I’ll check out your other video on this idea and subscribe 🙂
Honestly, your daughter doesn’t need structured playtime or teaching at her age. You could sit and play with her, putting out specific toys for her to choose from, and talk about what she’s doing. If you want a more structured activity have her lace Cheerios or fruit loops on a pipe cleaner. She could also put the pipe cleaners in an upside down colander. You can make cheap musical shakers from dollar store eggs and various fillings. I hot glued all the holes and then hot glued around where it joins. Simple peg puzzles are also appropriate for her age.
Subscribed and liked and shared on my Facebook super ideas mom 10 here always look for ideas.Sad we don't have a Target in Canada anymore so I see all these awesome things and can't get them.
Between you and Jady A I'm now going to make some busy bins. I have a lot of the stuff you showed and I think I'd get better use of it if I just did the busy bins 💖
Yes Sarah! I love that she actually plays with the toys because of the bins. If I didn't have those I would forget to give her most of those things. Ha!
Loving this, I am getting ready to have a surgery and have been needing some busy box inspo so my husband doesn't go too crazy taking care of our littles.
Or this one >>> Gamenote Double Sided Magnetic Letter Board - 2 in 1 Alphabet Magnets Tracing Board for Toddlers ABC Letters Uppercase & Lowercase Practicing
@@acstd14 you can find it on Amazon using the key words Cunug listed. However maybe the you tube creator can add it to her Amazon store. I purchased just about everything she had listed on her Amazon store
Hi, new to this channel. I have a very advanced 4 1/2 yr old I love this idea but I feel like she would breeze through them in minutes. She can write her name already, any ideas of things I could use to put in the bins would be greatly appreciated! 🙂
I'm finding it hard to manage my 4yo. He just wants to play with his brother and he doesn't really care to listen to our lessons and I can only get him interested to do his own "school" stuff for 10 min haha. Any thoughts? Unfortunately he's a bit of a distraction 😕
Omg thank you for the sticker tip!! I'm so doing that. I have a 3, 2 and 8 month old. So this is coming in handy!! Going to get there busy bins ready and im definitely copying you lol where did you get the bear family puzzle??? I need to do some shopping lol
Lol, my girls would use up all the stickers in one sitting. I did think about the Melissa & Doug bear Puzzle but we ended up getting Dress-up Julia, instead. And we like the bead & rod sequencing game, too. How old is your total again? My 3 year old acts so much older, and my 1 year old always wants what her older sister has. It's a struggle.
I hear ya'! My middle child is 4 going on 24!!! HA! She's still so small but she wants to do what her big siblings do. The toddler I have now just turned 3. And she is actually pretty content with where she's at. Thank God! LOL! She just wants to "do school." Whatever that is is fine with her. Michael's has these sticker books for $1 each! And they have SO MANY to choose from! If your kids love stickers...that might be a cheap way to keep them busy for a while. 😉
This looks so awesome. Love these ideas... But I have 2 toddler boys who try to run into the 2nd grade homeschooler's room to fight over the tablet that belongs to the school that let us borrow it. They pretty much just destroy the house throwing things at each other and food onto the floor, so I broke down and got a sitter to take them to the Park for me during our remote learning hours.
question- do you tell your kiddos to ONLY play with items in the busy bins during 'busy bin' time? I could see my daughter wanting to use those beads in the play kitchen as soup instead of putting them on the wooden rods. What is your approach if your kids want to use them in a different way or combine them with other toys NOT in the bin?
I let them play with the bin toys however they want. If they don't want the bin toys and they play with something else that's fine too. The goal is to have them playing on their own so I can do school with the other kiddos so whatever works! 😁
