Hi Angela, You look so beautiful. I love the eye look you created. I also do not like dark eye shadows on me. I don't think that the shades look to dark at all; it appears darker in the palette then on your eyes it really looks so beautiful on you.
So glad to see you busted out of your comfort zone with this one! It looks stunning! I think it would also look amazing with only the black on the lid, no shimmer, even though you can totally rock the shimmer and glitter!

Or for evening at restaurant, I go for a smokey blue halo eyelook with guerlain’s kiss kiss red lipstick 💄
I'm like you I don't wear dark eye shadows a lot because they make my eyes look small and add to my dark under eyes. I purchased the Tom Ford Soleil Neige eye shadow quad and that's pretty dark for me. Love House of Sillage King and Queen lip sticks! I have the black and red lip stick holders but that pink case is really pretty! Nice review!

Angela van Rose I actually tried it for the first time while watching Michele’s video. I can see what she means by the purple shade not showing up as to what it looks like in the pan. I tried it two different ways the purple over the nude shade and the blue glitter and I achieved a nice smoky look with the nude shade and bolder dark purple smoky look with the blue shade. And I’m terrible in doing smoky look but I was happy with both. So I’m happy with the palette and keeping it. People will be disappointed with the purple shade and I agree TF did not use the right purple shade but I love that I can actually create a soft smoky look with this palette that I have had difficulty before with some of his other darker palettes.
I love TF shadow. I usually don’t wear that dark shadow. It looks so beautiful. I am enjoying your channel. I don’t think I will get this one. Maybe his spring 2020.

Angela van Rose thanks! Yes I watched her video 😉 I like that she does high end reviews but all her eyeshadow looks are so light and minimal you can barely see her eye shadow 😮 I will try it I can always return it lolololol I am Going to buy double indemnity too and keep whichever I like best 😊💛
I’m curious - I didn’t love the individual Extreme shadows. Do you know if the formula is the same? Has it improved? I wonder because your swatches are lovely and I’m surprised by the pigmentation. The last Extreme palette, Frostfire, was not so great(in my opinion).

I guess we all have different idea about eyeshadows but I highly suggest you to watch Michele Wang's review. She hated this palette... I've been using it a alot lately and I keep liking the colors. They don't fade away on my eyes. xoxo

Right! Such a shame, Douglas doesn't offer the full collection. Sephora Germany is really a joke, compared to Sephora US and Beautylish doesn't send TF to Germany. Sometimes I find the latest TF cosmetics at UK-based retailers like Selfridges. But not always. And who knows how that's gonna develop with the Brexit coming 😟
Hi, You created a beautifull look. However, I have to argree with Michele W. The purple doesn’t look purple at all which is disappointing I think . So I rather save my money and use my double idemnity in conjunction with virgin orchid instead.sorry
Hello Wilhelmina :) Tom Ford makeup is very expensive so you have to be 100% sure that you love a certain product in order to splurge. Otherwise it's not worth it. I completely agree that if you don't like it you should definitely save your money. I always try to show swatches of the colors in natural light because when it comes to makeup we all have different taste. I'm hoping that this helps people to make their own decision if a certain product will work or not. The purple is not vibrant but I think that's something that I love (for myself of course). I think the reason why many people were disappointed is that on the promo photos of this palette the purple was "photoshoped a little" and it looked very bright and vibrant. There just, seems to be a huge difference between the colour as you ( and other reviewers too) showed it in the palette and what you see once applied on the eye and I am not used to that with the TF quads. But of course to each their own And I am very thankful for demo,s you and other YT ers put out there . It really helps me to make up my mind wether or not I “ need it” in my life 😁 so thnx👍
Thank you for the review, but i am extremely disappointed in TomFord brand in Australia, today i was told that Australia will be receiving the Soleil eyeshadows in August next year!!!! And ‘customer service’ could not say anything at all about this Badass pallet. I wish someone passes the message to Tom Ford that will actually get to the right person’s ears, they should just leave Australia then if they dont care about the customers here.
