Hi Vanessa! Sorry for the late response... I just saw your comment. These homes are on slab with cinderblock for the first floor and wood frame on the second floor. I don't know the exact hurricane rating for the windows, but they are not "storm windows" in the traditional sense. Most window damage from hurricanes comes from debris. These windows are not shatterproof... The good news is that in Central Florida, we don't get the SUPER heavy hurricanes (generally... thank goodness!)
