@djsy54321 congratulations on ordering your one. Hope everything went great. Doing my practical driving test in May so wish me luck and if I pass I will finally be able to get mine
Decided to down size and just ordered the Premiere in Pearl white over the GR as I agree for a daily driver Id chose comfort over the sporty styling. I do love the exclusive grey colour on the GR but I prefer the interior of the Premiere. Excited to get my 74 Yaris soon.
Yes, seems rather steep. Lets see how that will be met by the customers. But it is a popular car that people just buy, so I assume it will sell good. Because at the same time, it is good. Thanks for watching 🙏
You are right @@whatcarwhattime Im a Yaris user until now.. i will say im a fan of Toyota Yaris.. When i see the new one coming no brainer i just buy it for real
Thanks! This cabin felt better isoletad and also the overall ride felt much more composed. But as I said, the roads we drove on where vere smooth. When hitting some more beat up B-roads like many of ours in Sweden, it might be a little different. Will check that out later. But a lot better car with good Improvements. Thanks for watching 🙏
Tyre noise in 2022 model was much improved. I don't know what year they made the switch from the previous model (interior and exterior). We compa red with the previous model and the difference was obvious. Some tyres are of course worse than others but in general we did find the 2022/23 model Yaris a great little car. We live on the countryside and have a rough stretch of unpaved road and the current Yaris does well on that gravel / bumpy surface.
I never understood why they make those center infotainment screen stick up.. that seems like a really hazardous thing if someone driving is shorter. I mean the main safety issue is having good visibility out the front of your car.
Standard version (not GR Sport) are supposed to have slightly softer (more comfortable) suspension setting, they adjusted it a bit this way. I heard it in one Slovak channel first look video, where reviewer mentioned it as his friend had 2020 version and he already ordered (in Slovakia we got prices and ability to pre-order in second half of September I think) and received this 2024 facelift version and could feel a little difference in this way.
They've added some safety features, improved the radar scanning, and tweaked the adaptive cruise control, lane-assist, etc., to be smoother and more progressive. The multimedia system is far more responsive and the software has been completely revamped. You only get the more powerful drive train on the highest spec versions (in the UK - other countries may get different specifications).
Oh, thats a good question. Nothing I really experienced on this test drive more than that extra fruity 3-cyl vibe you always get. Does it get bothersome in the long run? Thanks for your question and for watching 🙏
Yes, my opinion as well. But at the same time, track record of quality and reliability is something that needs to be wheight in. And here Toyota is good and this update is a little special and makes this model a very strong contentender if not the best in its class. But that need to be set to the test ofcourse. Thanks for watching 🙏
@@whatcarwhattime here in Greece there is no cheaper car except kia , but polo , peug 208 , h i20 all of those have the same price with yaris so i ordered a yaris ...
Nice car. What about fuel consumption in cruise control at 100 km? sometimes I drive from Amsterdam to Paris. that is 555 km. So I'm interested in fuel consumption. greetings from The Netherlands
Didn't test the consumption with cruise control. But the average consumption is 0,41 l/100 km. Think you can manage a little better if you put som effort into it ☺️. Thanks for watching 🙏
Will there be an improvement on this who knows, I travel up and down the M1 of the UK, I’ve seen absolutely loads of these cars all different colours, If people read this, if you want to save on cash when buying did you know on the market now you can fit yourself tiny string led lighting on the inside or outside of this car the same as Audi has got, search online👍🏻
Oui c’est important d’indiquer hev c’est un moyen de rappeler que les mhev ne sont pas de vrai hybride. C’est pour ceux qui pensent avoir une hev avec une 208 48v alors que c’est seulement un mhev
buy a toyota lexus hybrid much reliable, dump the ev anxiety, evi expensive repair costs will wipe out all your ev savings 3 times more than petrol ice cars, ev are worth paying only £2k because of expensive repair costs when it becomes faulty
I have this car for a month, i like how it drives very much, but the safety features, oh my god it puts me off 100% to the point i hate the car. It beeps every time you exceed the limit it thinks you might have, and it is wrong a lot of the time. You drive and it beeps all the time, pulls the steering wheel and beeps again. This car is a beeping machine. the fact you cannot permanently turn the beep of is a disaster
@@whatcarwhattime you can turn it of for just that trip. Every time you start the car it is on again. Imagine beiing a saleseman and just driving short distances. Every time you have to acces the menu......
I wonder if this Yaris’ 12 volt battery depletes as quickly as its predecessor. Anyone thinking of buying this car must beware of the serious deficiency----go on holiday for a fortnight and you come back to a jump start!
I'm an occasional driver of the 2022 MK 4 and never had a problem leaving it for a couple of weeks. Someone on the Yaris Users forum told me there was a bad batch of batteries in one production run, but may have been speculating. Recently upgraded to the new 2024 (MY 24) model and liking the improvements.
Crap interior similar to the ch-r! I bet it's squeaky, wobbly, and would scratch just by touching it. Also, same seats, which will kill your upper back and neck. Don't forget the all black ceiling and the claustrophobic feel inside.
I dont think its that bad. But some scratchy plastics is something you come by in so many cars nowadays, especially small ones. A lighter interiror would do it👍. Thanks for watching 🙏
@whatcarwhattime I see your point, it's just so the quality doesn't match the price tag. But again, I started driving a while ago and indeed used to a different caliber. Cheers 🍻
I'm watching this and getting bored. I want bullet points;fuel consumption, reliability, warranty, depreciation. I started skipping through this and now im skipping this video altogether as I'm loosing the will to live .
Sorry to hear that. Im bringing up some of that mixed in together with the real world driving feeling that I always look for and the first impressions the car gives me. I think there are so many channels that focuses on only this and thats why I might not always dig that deep into it, my interest lays in the driving sensation and if the car can be something to live with 🙂 But I'm very thankfull for your inputs and also for you watching 🙏
