Went out for some New Years Eve wheeling with the boys to run another brand new 4x4 trail. Big rocks, sticky tires and broken parts is what it was all about! The Toyota buggy had to get towed out on a strap with zero wheel drive!

Thats the fun thing about opinions, you can rock crawl however you want but I'm gonna rock crawl the way I like to do it. Sounds like you should use a little more throttle 😂

Plastic fuel filter? I've never seen an EFI filter that wasn't metal. Stock fuel pump is capable of 60 psi if the regulator sticks.

My idiot comment, code 55 is the same on the Cherokee it flashes 5 times twice, which means no codes

Theres two lights on a Nissan ECM, green and red, green is the first digit, red is the second, but same thing. 55 means its fiiiiine

"Man Down---Man remains Down": Oliver Platt 'Ice Harvest'! That knoll @ approx. T18m14sec was bad-ass! No one wants to hear about breakage from internet Monos Nova's, but cut out-sounds had all the earmarks of FP relay intermittent failure. High Index suspicion fuel was pulled through down-stream filter and air pressure accumulated in upstream line. If time and money permit; assess price of sourcing new harness may not be as bad as we(I) think? Also, you might wince when I say this, but what if you all threw in and purchased a wrecker from 'Peg' Frost-Back Praire and staged it accordingly. On it's face, sounds goofy, but w/ all that dead and down, not so sure?

Was working on my rig this morning, and realized you have said a 100 times, 'MACHanical'...so sorry: possible breech in line causing air infiltrate? Hopefully am wrong about old wiring too!

I've got to learn everything the hard way. I like the clear filters because I can see thru them, but turns out they're low pressure and my efi is now a high pressure system. So I have two new proper high pressure filters coming (pre pump and post pump) and I have a suspicion that will fix my problem. Also when I actually got a chance to run my codes again it came up VSS..........vehicle speed sensor, which I don't even have in my rig soo maybe I should just put a piece of tape over the idiot light hahaha

@@PathmakerProductions Well thats good news, we see a lot of the farm trucks w/ those inline filters clogged due to old and if honest 'not a fan of ethenol laden gas' ...marginal gas. At any rate, those tires are well worth tripping a speed sensor! We are thinking of borrowing a skid-steer, do not know if that is common name most places; to remove D&D, but if you all got an old-timey wrecker, you could skid logs, and the occasional vehicle catastrophe. Hope he can rally that T-Case; would set someone like me back a fair piece.

Tcase is already fixed and new driveshaft built. We'll have it out this weekend...........gotta feed the beast so we do whatever it takes to get out in the woods every weekend!

What gearing is in your axles?

5.38s in mine. Was worth every penny compared to the stock 4.10s. I couldnt even use high gear with them….plus they were a lot harder on parts.

@PathmakerProductions I'm going waggy 44 front and having a hard time finding 5.38s for the nissan axle, that's what I was originally looking for, I found 5.89s for the waggy and nissan, planning on running 37s think that will be too low?

Just go 5.13s unless you plan on going 40s and drive on the road then go 5.89s. I have 5.89s with 39.5s on my Pathfinder and its geared like stock on the road.

I have a d60/14bolt so thats why 5.38s. Gearing options are limited and expensive for Nissan axles so get the steepest you can get for the H233b and then find the matching one for the d44 (lots more options in d44 gearing). Personally in my opinion you can never really be too low, unless you plan on driving it on the highway to get to the trails. Always nicer to have more torque when offroad.

The gears for nissan axles are priced about average to others now since the big gear manufactures are making them. Back in tbe day when it was only through Nismo tbey where crazy expensive
