I feel you on the round face, my face is almost perfectly round and I have always admired a strong jaw line as well. I love a good at home treatment and this looks like a fantastic one.
These devices are amazing, I haven’t invested yet but the idea of things that rebuild Collagen is up there with serious dermatology but at a better price. Yes it’s visible in the jawline.
I used to see an aesthetician that uses a radio frequency device which I adored but I moved and have struggled finding an aesthetician that uses one so I’m def going to get this!
You have a great defenition and beautiful skin! I miss getting radio frequency and dont have the time for appts. Just purchased the gold one! Super excited.
Thank you for the review. I’ve had my eye on this device for a while but I already have so many devices! I have the StopX along with a microcurrent device and the Time Master Pro. Not sure I actually need this.😅
If you already have the other devices it would probably not necessarily make sense to get this in addition. This combines the RF with the DMA, which makes it great for those looking for a device with those two in one shot.
What an impressive result. Excellent video. Can you use in conjunction with micro current? I just bought and enjoy but love the eye lift and cheek definition micro current adds. Thank you.
I have the TriPollar vX and use it every other day, BUT the DMA/ELV is painful! I even tried numbing my skin, but it didn't help. It hurts and I try to tough it out but I can't. When they say it tingles they're lying. It HURTS. BUT the rf can be used alone and it doesn't hurt so thats what I use. Sadly, I haven't seen any improvements. I've been using it EVERY other day for 2 months. Maybe it will take more time since I'm 66 years old. Before I got the TriPollar, I had the Newa. It did help a little but it died in less than a year. I'm going to keep going and hope for improvement. I also use micro current, LED, and High Frequency. And I also do collagen induction with DermaRolling. Hoping to slow down the Hands of Time!
I find that at home treatments do tend to take longer than in office versions. They are just not as powerful, for good reason obviously, but it can take more time. Wonderful if you are patient because it can save you thousands. I'm so sorry that its so uncomfortable for you. I have actually stopped using DMA and have switched to microcurrent now. Its a bit more gentle but I'm finding that its doing a great job of helping me maintain. Which at this point makes me happy. Best of luck on your journey! I'm glad you are taking care of yourself. I think it can really benefit you outside of the physical results. My routines help me relax honestly. It helps me stay a bit more zen lol.
Hi! You’re not supposed to use everyday. Collagen takes 2 weeks to build. So you’re doing yourself a disservice by doing it everyday. Wait 2 weeks. With that being said, the company says to use it every 3 days and that they did a clinical test and 3 days is good. So keep that in mind.
I'm a new subscriber to your channel. I love your videos. I'm considering buying a RF device to treat my jowls, but I can't decide between TriPollar Stop vs and Evenskyn Lumo. In your opinion, which one would do a better job?
If you are just looking for RF then I would say go with the original TriPollar. It's a wonderful device! If you are looking for all the additional features of the Evenskyn and you think you will use them consistently to make it worthwhile, I'd say go with that. Quite honestly both have been great devices for me. I hate telling people to pick one over the other. I think the features have to make sense to you.
@@MrKongsMom Thank you so much for your reply. The Evenskyn is a little more affordable. So, if it can do a good job, I think I will go for it. I can commit to a routine and be consistent. I do cosmetic dermarolling about once a week, apply vitamin C serum in the morning, always use a sunscreen and apply some retinoid at night. I have noticed an improvement in my skin since I started this routine after the beginning of COVID. It gave me something to do during lockdowns.😊 I will try contacting the Evenskyn people to find out if the two metal posts I have in one molar could be an issue. Please keep the interesting videos coming. You look fabulous, by the way. Update: I have just checked the price of the Evenskyn. The special promotion is back on. I have ordered it, as well as the Venus for around the eyes.
@@LinYingjun They asked you that when you went directly through the TriPollar site? I have no idea what Amazon Pay is (assuming like PayPal?) so I don't know if you need to provide extra information. I only pay via credit card of PayPal and have not been asked for this. I trust the TriPollar brand so if they are asking when you are buying DIRECTLY from their website then they must need the info because it's amazon pay. Wish I could be more help but I have never heard of this.
I havent opened the box as I'm trying to decide to use it or return it. aacckkk.... I paid about $210 net for the stop x. I know it's a great price but I'm nervous about being compliant and maybe keeping my cash :) sounds like you're pretty impressed over all. I'm so unsure!
If you know you are not going to use it or be consistent then it’s not worth keeping in my opinion. It does take commitment to see results. The device absolutely works, but it also takes the time to use it per instructions. I really advise that if people know they aren’t going to follow through that they don’t bother. Why waste money, right? That being said, if you do it, you’ll probably really like the long term results. And you did get an amazing price!
Hi Melanie. First of all thanks for your videos. I m a great fan though I normally don’t comment much- English is not my native language- I just indulged in the tripollar stop Vx. I was wondering do you need to do two treatment one for FR and one for MDA ? Or do you get RF when the blue light is one. It’s not super clear to me. If two treatments are needed would you recommend to do them one after the other or to alternate? Thanks and sorry for the stupid questions
Hi Lily, I am so sorry I am so late to reply to this! I believe the treatments are actually together on the blue setting. I do one round of RF and one of MDA just to be safe myself. the RF turns off anyway when your skin has reached the correct temp. I hope that helps!
@@MrKongsMom Hi Melanie. Please do not apologise. I already feel honoured you are answering me. Thanks for the explanation. I’ve tried to do both too. Results seem really good but it s also pretty drying on my already super dry face. I’ll need to adapt my routine. Thanks again. Really appreciate your feedback and kind words. All the best to you
Those are not stupid questions at all. My Stop Vx is in the mail now and should be arriving in just a few days. I am a native English speaker and I had the same question - if the DMA/ELV works separately or if the RF is still on when using the DMA/ELV mode. Yours were good questions!
Hi!!! Im curious- what are xaman treatments? And thank you for the video, i received my device today and a bit nervous to use it but excited at the same time :)
I want to RF for skin tightening for my double chin (jawline and directly under my chin), but I cannot find anything online if it is safe. I even emailed the TRI Pollar company, and they gave me a runaround and didn’t answer my question. Does anyone know if I can use it in that area?
Personally I would treat that specific area, I would avoid directly over thyroid area but right under the chin, I would. That being said, I looked through my pamphlet and there was nothing about it in there. The device can absolutely be used on the jawline.
I also have micro current. Is it wise to continue this once a week while I'm also doing the RF 3 times a week. Also I didn't see you use it for upper lip for us who have the nasty lip lines. Is it good for lip lines? Thoughts?
I believe you can use both modalities. I just wouldn't do too much on the same day. I like spreading things out throughout the week. I am sure RF would help lip lines, but I don't think you will get them to go away completely, but softening them I'm sure. Personally i don't have them so I don't use this there.
I would not use RF under the eyes and the EMS is just supposed to be used on the jawline according to their instructions. RF can melt fat for some people and could leave you with hollow under eyes.
Thanks so much for a great video. I use tretinoin and wondering if I would need to not use it on the days that I use this devise? I’ve looked online but haven’t a hard time finding this out. Thanks!
@@desagriffiths8367 hello, I'm confused by the answer above. Did you find out if it's okay to use tretinoin? I use Retin-A every other night but am interested in this device.
I think she was saying that yes, it is possible (i.e. okay) to use this device and tretinoin together. She heard that mentioned in another video tutorial, which was in French. (I'm a professional interpreter and part of that field requires learning to be able to suss out what someone is saying lol).
Hi :) can you please tell me if the DMA mode can be used under the chin area for chin fat/ sagging? Or is it the jaw line only as says in the booklet xx thanks
The product does not claim to aid in this and like you mentioned, the booklet specifically says jawline only. I have only ever used it on my jawline so I cannot attest to any other area myself.
Do you prefer the RF of this device on the face or the Evenskyn Lumo? Do you feel one RF is better than the other ? Or is the Rf the same? (Someone said tripollar is warmer). I’m intrigued by the cooling on the lumo but not sure if it’s worth it to go 100$ more than the stop X (I’m not super interested in the muscular stimulation as studies don’t support it’s effectiveness for anti-aging on the face). So RF straight up - are they identical?
If you are just going for RF I would say TriPollar. It does get warmer. Personally I think it's nice to have the extra options with the Lumo but if you are not interested in them or won't use them consistently it's not going to be worth the extra investment to you. Both devices are very effective. Just depends on what you will use.
It was uncomfortable the first few times for me but I saw that benefit so I just kind of suffered through lol. But now honestly it doesn't even bother me anymore. It does feel like a pinching or stinging sensation. It's probably working the way it should. But there are just some people that cannot put up with the discomfort, because you are right, it's not comfortable. You could get a bit of topical lidocaine and see if that helps?
I just tried this device today and wanted to share that the gel makes a big difference in comfort level. The tri polar brand gel is very thick and decreased any discomfort. When I tried it with a thinner gel from Amazon I felt a lot more tingles! I couldn’t tolerate it.
@@taylornoriega6319 That's very good to know! I was going to try and save money getting gel from Amazon, but your comment has me reconsidering that choice. I'm really glad you mentioned that!
Going great! Still using it 3 days a week on my neck and LOVING my results so far! As with any of these devices, you HAVE to be consistent and they require continued use to help maintain results. However, maintenance use is far less extensive - so you don't have to use it as often.
@@MrKongsMom would the Lumo be used instead of the microcurrent since the ems seems to be a similar modality, or can the two be used differently? Do you think ems might be depleting ATP?
Oh I absolutely still use it. Only about once or twice a week right now though. I have gotten a bit lazy about it. There is a whole routine that I really like to maintain as I have found the best success using multiple devices that work well together.
@@MrKongsMom great that’s what I needed to hear. I’ve been getting great results from my Mito Pro 750 Red Light Therapy panel. I bought the Tripollar Stop X Rose Ombré without the ELV electric device. It should be in tomorrow for me to use for the first time. Can’t wait. Thanks for all the great device videos!
How warm should the RF mode be? I got this model on Amazon and on the highest RF setting I can barely even tell there's any warming sensation whatsoever which is odd because I have other RF devices that will straight up burn you if you leave it in one spot for more than like 2 secs!!....the dma mode however is like jump out of your pants status 🤣🤣 Wonder if the one I got is faulty 😩
Ok so I am always leery about buying devices on Amazon because I do know that there are companies that do knock offs of these devices and they look totally legit. I don't think Amazon really does enough to ensure that what the various sellers are selling are legit items directly from the company. I am not saying yours is, but I have heard horror stories. The RF mode on mine (purchased from SkinStore - one of their partner retailers) gets quite warm and I cannot leave it on one spot really for any amount of time. I have to do the circular motions and keep it moving or it's very hot and uncomfortable. Do you know if yours came directly from TriPollar? And yes, the DMA mode is quite strong. I agree there.
Do I have to shave my jawline to use the elv effectively? I have the tripollar vx gold, also, why can't I use the elv on my entire face? Also, why does the orange light on the gold come on so fast? Could that be a sign that it's broken?
I would think that you would need pretty good contact with the skin for the ELV to work properly so you may want to shave. The company does not recommend using the ELV on the other areas of the face, those areas are too sensitive and the ELV is just too strong. As for the orange light, mine comes on after an the same amount of time as my OG Tripollar. You may want to reach out to the company and inquire. They have pretty good customer service.
@@MrKongsMom thank you! I'm looking for something too lift the corners of my mouth, and help with laxity, And hopefully provide some more fullness, volume to my face. How do you feel the tripolar VX would do on those concerns? Is there anywhere that you find you can't use the tripolar VX? And if you don't mind me asking, How long have you been using the tripolar vX? Thanks so much!!!
@@DB6904. Over time with consistent use you should be able to rebuild some collagen with the RF. Are you also on tretinoin? That can help with collagen as well. That is really want you need in order to add some "fullness" back in. I have been using tripollar for over year now I think. It's been a while. If you have severe laxity, you may want to check out some RF treatments with a dermatologist or esthetician. They are require a bit more downtime but seem to give great results. Obviously they use a much more powerful device. TriPollar might be a great way to maintain those results. I think it's important to have realistic expectations for an at home device.
@@MrKongsMom thanks for your response. Yes I'm using Trentinon, I have for 5 years or so, before that over the counter retinol. I'm just starting to see some laxity, and noticed what looks to be the start of downturned corners of the mouth, 👄 I'm wanting to combat, and hopefully prevent more of that, and hopefully correct a bit too. I went with the Tripolar stop Vx vs other devices one because it has the EVL mode to help w the jawline, but also potentially lift the corners of my mouth... I also like it because it can be safely used on the fourhead as well. :)))
You definitely can use it on the forehead. If you search "Tripollar Stop Vx tutorial", the tutorial from the manufacturer should be right at the top and it goes over how to do the forehead correctly.
I personally do not use it over my Xeomin (I prefer this over Botox). I am trying to immobilize those areas so I would not use EMS over the area because it kind of defeats the purpose of the tox for me. RF I would use over my forehead but never do. If I had filler I would probably avoid the RF and EMS in those areas as well. I just would prefer to play it safe. My friend Penn just did a video about Botox and if you should use certain devices over those areas so you might want to check her out for more in depth info. Her channel is PennSmithSkincare.
I bought this device at Christmas and regret it. 1) too expensive 2) I don't see any results 3) Not rechargeable (needs to be plugged in during use) 4) Dislike their conductive gel. It's goopy and can't figure out why they put all that sparkly stuff in it.
The DMA is just to be used on the jawline per the instructions. The RF can be used on the 11's. I would not use RF too closely under the eyes as it can lead to fat loss in some people. This could make the undereyes look for sucken in.
@@lizalim1559 Honestly, filler. It's not for everyone but I have yet to find a device that does that. Otherwise just hydrate the area as much as possible to make it look its best that way.
@@MrKongsMom Thank you! I thought that RF might work since it’s supposed to rebuild collagen. I’ll stick to ignoring it, that has worked pretty well so far.
Yes, but NOT over your thyroid area. That's really important to be aware of. Look up a chart of acceptable treatment areas if you aren't sure which part of your neck you need to avoid.
Umm... your face isn't round - and you do have a very defined jawline - you have a V shaped face... pointy chin - slightly wider Jawline- and good definition in the cheeks - it's not round! :) V attractive!
