Northeast monsoon often serve as a barrier, preventing a northward track, thus pushing typhoons toward a westward direction. This is why historically, destructive typhoons are in the last 3 months of the year.

i've been living in the philippines the last couple of years, it seems the typhoons have been moving north before reaching the phillipines.

Hahaha, Its becoming a big mess. Will the cold surge weaken the TD? In taygaytay, currently its raining and that nice cool weather we have seen for the last several days is becoming hot and humid again.

The fact that it was so massive is terrifying, if a landfall hete in ph is possible is a death sentence
