Monster Jam Showdown is getting closer and closer to its worldwide debut, and with some big information revealed recently I figured we'd cover it all right here on MonsterTalk Gaming! Hope you guys enjoy! #monsterjam #monstertruck
The physics still look out of wack and almost moon like still. The graphics look amazing compared to everything in the past but I feel as if Monster Jam is out of touch with what the fans want. I think I can speak for a large majority of us and say we want more of a ROR style game that’s more real and focused on the actual Motorsport side than arcade. Then again, Monster Truck Destruction provides that on a mobile game… I’ve personally made a few of my favorite tracks over the years and makes it 100% more fun living out your monster truck fantasy of driving on those tracks.
The thing with videogames is that it has to be appealing to anyone not just the fans, and not everyone is into just driving in a simulator, which is what ROR basically is, games have to have appeal where we want to keep replaying, however I agree the physics do seem off, hopefully they can do something to like change it to be more realistic but looking at many racing games, physics tend to be floaty, ROR and beamng don’t feel like they were made by a videogame company they look independent
Man, I hope Multiplayer is going to be realistic even for the leagues out there wanting a realistic Monster Jam league on a video game cause, these guys worked on the AMA Monster Energy Supercross games, with their current Supercross game being AMA Monster Energy Supercross 6, and they've also worked on MXGP for quite sometime too. So, I'm pretty excited to see where this will go.
Hoard?🤔 maybe zombie invasion? A HOARD of zombies?🤔, and we got blue kraken!!!!!!!!!!! Hope jester, bad company, fast metal, velocoraptor, shaker, axe, vendetta, and nitro neon trucksand some others will be in the game
The physics seem to give the trucks too much air control based on throttle, as shown in the Stabilizer backflip clip, with the truck braking and the rotation stopping. If this is one of the many adjustable driving assists it should be alright. If not, this game might be weird to learn, but we might be able to get some semi-realism out of it, hopefully like Steel Titans 1 minus the weird bugs in that game. I think Horde will be like Escalation in Transformers War for Cybertron, where you equip weapons and survive waves of enemies, which could turn out like Maximum Destruction but more polished.
Yeah I’m thinking if the physics are gonna be based on throttle as we saw with the stabilizer backflip, it’s not gonna be realistic but we can make it work like with steel titans 2 which while not perfect has better physics and sometimes moves like a normal monster truck, definitely still hoping with more realistic physics like in ror and beamng games which is hard to do in big videogames
I went to Monster Jam a few weekends ago in Syracuse and I saw a trailer of the game with Mohawk Warrior. I wish the game would have the eliminator race, creating your own truck, and replays. I can’t wait to see more trucks get added. I would want the element trucks including zombies get added. Avenger Fire got cut from Steel Titans 2.
I know of some more independents that will be in the game from what I've heard from the teams, Kraken was one of them. There is gonna be a lot of first game appearances 😉
@MonsterTalk Gaming I have huge news we just got a leaked picture of some more trucks those being: Avenger, Shaker, Northern Nightmare, Soldier Fortune, Velociraptor, Mohawk Warrior, Brutus and Axe
I’m a kid who loves monster jam I have path of destruction and steel titans 2 and watch on Hulu and RU-vid and I can’t wait to get this game possibly right after my birthday
I’m a little worried about the physics, like many people, like that clip of Lucas stabilizer doing the backflip, didn’t look too realistic, like when it did the rotation, in mid air it stopped, and I feel like that’s similar to steel titans where with you either accelerate or decelerate you also tilt the truck like how it is in steel titans
@@monstertalkgamingREALLY August 29 why I’ll be back in school I want to play over the summer tell them to carefully work harder and make it so it won’t be the release date of August 29 because I want to play over the summer please 🙏
@@1kglenn Hey man how are you? Unfortunately I don't think Monster Talk, or I, have any sway for when the game comes out. Besides we want them to have as much time to work on it as possible to make it great!
The physics look not better but different than steel titans The trucks seem to be almost planted into the ground They just need to make a console version of beam ng and have a mods store
That would be nice, but consoles aren't up to snuff for a game like BeamNG, plus I highly doubt monster jam would allow those mods to hit consoles since it is their license, got to worry about copyright issues on console.
@@SKULL0fD3ATH. This is sadly true, copyright and licensing are absolutely bitches and can be really annoying for developers to make games because of these two things.
You can tell the physics are like someones going to hold your hand anytime the game thinks you want to do a certain trick. Dont get hyped for this, well probably be disappointed
monster jam the game 2007 urban assault 2008 path of destruction 2010 battlegrounds 2015 crush it 2016 and the two steel titans 2019 - 2021 were good games and now the showdown game 2024 will be another good monster jam game
@@katierydermaurer3415 I've got gameplay of it, shows you about as much as you need to know, even got a video comparing monster truck destruction to it
I wont lie it would be awesome to see the hot wheels truck but i think after watching ur latest video about it i can mostly see y it wont ever get in sadly it was one of my favorite trucks the 2000s version to be exact
5 seconds in and the game already looks like an eyesore. Like I know they cater to the kids with the games but what about the hardcore fans? Been playing monster jam games since the very beginning since I was 5-6, I’ve been wanting a console simulator since Monster Jam “07 and the birth of RoR and yes I’ve played it and it’s what a monster jam game SHOULD be. I’m 27 now and have more fun playing the mobile MTD counterpart. Just saying console Monster Truck Destruction would clear any MJ title
Go play beam or rigs if you want realism. Milestone had to cater to everyone not just the older fans. It's in their contract and they must do what feld allows them to do and we just have to live with it.
@@Theunknownsoul463 I literally said I played it at the end of my sentence. I’m pretty much just ranting about how it’s been 20 years and they still cater to kids and some kids STILL don’t even like todays monster jam games. Just saying if a MOBILE game can do it better then there’s a problem.
@@miketrapper0464 screamer 4x4, Forza motorsport (first 3 games specifically) mudrunner, MX vs ATV Reflex, wreckfest, Baja edge of control, dirt rally series, MXGP 3, MXGP 2020, 1nsane, I could name more, but I think I made my point 😅 Edit: Motorm4x, off-road drive, original Grid Motorsport. Thought I'd add those 3
@@SKULL0fD3ATH. ah I remember wreckfest that one is good, I guess it’s pretty hard to make good physics with monster trucks with a big videogame company
@@miketrapper0464 you'd think it'd be easy considering BeamNG and RoR are indie games, I'm fairly certain monster jam tells the game studios they hire to aim more towards arcade style of game instead of simulation style, shame really because I believe a majority of fans want a simulation game coming from the official games.
@@SKULL0fD3ATH. i feel like they’re trying to make a game that is both close to real life and like an arcade, the monster jam 2007 game to me feels like it had the most realistic physics and was like the most fun arcade style game, fans definitely do want a realistic game but i think the way many games work is that it has to be also available to many other people not just fans, that’s why it’s arcade style, which I’m fine with, the problem really is nailing the physics down, as I said monster jam 2007 was made by activision and was arcade like yet had realistic gravity and physics, so I really don’t know why other games couldn’t do it like that
Yeah no my hope is almost at it's brink of extinction, once again the physics are not too great. If they don't fix the physics. Well. im not buying it and im just gonna play steels titans 2 again. Game modes are quite interesting. Yet i don't fucking understand why monster jam is not listening to their fans.
The physics are just fine my guy. They are definitely better than steel titans and while not perfect they are definitely better than initially thought.
What’s funny is that in steel titans 1 it was too easy to do slap wheelies that it kept making the trucks spin around uncontrollably and unrealistically so for steel titans 2 to make the physics a little more realistic to be able to do stoppies, slap wheelies are almost impossible to pull off
