I really really REALLY like the look of this one. It fixes all the issues with the original FXD (missing minute markers from the bezel) and it looks fantastic. Probably a bit too big for me though. Hoping they'll do a Pelagos 39mm version.
The best thing about this watch in my opinion is the continued partnership of Tudor with our Marine Nationale. I would like for these pieces, if not issued as standard equipment for obvious reasons, to still be offered with decorations to our soldiers who achieve great deeds for our nation.
Interesting that I normally dislike watch videos when the reviewer hasn't actually got the watch but for some reason I really enjoyed this ...er ... Preview?!? Kudos man. 👍🏼
love it but would have preferred it to be a variant of the pelagos 39 on a bracelet instead. we have so many 42mm versions alreddy and the 39 is such a perfect size. fixed lugs are a no go for me.
Love the watch. But, as a military pilot there is no way I am putting fixed lugs on my wrist to fly. That sounds like an egress issue waiting to happen, I would rather lose my watch over my life/arm.
Thanks for this!! Amazing, just what I was hoping for. I have the FXD black and was always missing a date window. Can you do a comparison of the FXD normal version and GMT? That’d be incredible.
Great looking watch but I wish you could put the Pelagos bracelet on it. I prefer the flexibility of changing bracelet and straps, and that Pelagos bracelet is pretty awesome. Maybe screwed bars which would be a lot stronger than spring bars and still allow for more variety. I get it for the strength and military aspect but it's really overkill IMO.
I like that they've crossed that rubicon of giving us a Pelagos GMT, but (intentionally I bet) there's so many things about this I don't like. Namely the Fautina and the fixed lugs. They KNOW people will want this on the bracelet and with a white dial text with none of the Fautina, but they're not giving us that.... they can't F around for too long though. Longines is already giving us what we want by offering the Zulu time in Titanium without all the extra BS, so I hope by early next year they have this in colors people actually want.
The great thing about the fxd in both black and blue format is the stark contrast and how white the indexes are, I think it's a shame they didn't continue it with this and have gone to a black bay type creamy lume, other than it's nice
I’m picking up the black FXD in December and when I saw this was coming I wondered if I’d be wanting to move my deposit to this. But no, I’m sticking with the standard black. I done like the vintage lume - the Pelagos is crisp and this feels a little artificial.
Phew! Lucky escape! Lovely watch but I already have the Pelagos FXD in black, which I only got this month along with the white dial Speedmaster (50th birthday). If this GMT had been a blue dial release I might have been tempted…. and been divorced!
I see you've started doing the Adrian Barker style of picking up your coffee cup mid sentence but don't take a sip as if this was just a casual chat amongst friends.
I have every in house Pelagos up to the 39 (yes, including the MN21) but they have all been really disappointing since then (apart from black dial FXD) and this is one of the worst IMO.
Meh. Does the bezel rotate? Is it a traveler gmt movement? It’s a master chronometer so it will be limited in numbers. Tudor likes to play the same games as Rolex.
Can a watch actually be COSC and METAS?....... How is that even possible? COSC is -4+6. METAS is -0+5, and Tudor refine COSC to -2+4, so METAS is effectively outside of that if +5 🙄 Another Coffee? That was an empty cup 😂😂😂
