If you ever observed closely, you’ll realise the Chinese version of the goosestep is modified to look more natural. The traditional Prussian goosestep (as well as goosesteps of the rest of the world) doesn’t allow bending of the knee, whereas it’s customary for one to bend the knee in the Chinese goosestep (albeit quickly).
