Prayerful Hope guided prayers (RU-vid): bit.ly/36pw1dB PrayerfulHope.com (with devotionals): bit.ly/3wwOVtE This is the changing of the guards in Taipei, Taiwan. An impressive display and coordinated effort.
I saw many honor guard shifts. Look at the soldiers trained tremendously. They are the best honor guards in the world. I want to say that they are the best of the best in the honor guard worldwide. I was impressed by the Taiwanese soldier.
@Timothy Gray In spite of your earlier snide comment, I'm going to be civil to you...at least, for now. I've always considered the Army's drill team to be superior (my personal prejudice from being in the Army, I suppose), but here's news: the Air Force has beaten all other branches. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iD5gjbduPa0.html
@@yoyohighness kindergarten stuff? Mate they're are trained like BEASTS, Being able to walk, march and stand still for HOURS as the same for the United States Honor Guard, But I gotta give this to Taiwan
That 1/2 turn @ 1:49 was the truth!! I love their uniforms from helmet (which is the shiniest I've ever seen) to boots. I'd wear those boots in a heartbeat.
I enjoyed this more than the US changing of the guard, I don't think its flashy or exaggerated at all. The movements were all executed with discipline and precision.
One day, one officer gets up in the morning and decides to create a distinctive process for the changing of the guard.... Then for generations soldiers find themselves doing strange choreographies... Althouh I may admire the synchronisation of the movements and the snappy precision, I can't but think "what was going through his head?"
Looks like a cross between traditional martial arts and roosters fighting -but actually its very good . God bless Taiwan...a bastion of freedom . Nicholas John Papadopoulos , Auckland ,New Zealand .
Gostei, para mim uma das trocas de guarda mais criativa, disciplinada que já vi. Gosto também muito da do meu país Brasil. E de alguns outros países também.
Changing of the guards posses some of the hypnotic quality the sequences of movements of arms feet and the gun create very of sounds from chiming , pounding to the stomping all music to our ears, emphasizes on the righteousness positivity watch more than once almost had the therapeutic effect!

Rather, changing the guard. 1:00-what function does it play in the middle? 1:43-What is the object? 2:29-What a strange change of the guard. I mean those on the Podestach. Is it possible to approach and touch them when changing the guards or those who hold the worth?
What’s the historical basis for this style of foot drill? I’ve noticed that many US-aligned Asian and SE Asian countries have really weird-looking slow marches and double time marches.
Taiwan's military training is deeply rooted in prussian doctrine. Nazi Germany and the Wehrmacht sent officers and trainers to train the Kuomintang Army to fight the Japanese Empire prior to WW2. It eventually stuck even after the US supported Taiwan after WW2 with their own training and equipment.
They are well disciplined, the Amerikan style jump boots have no place on a dress uniform. Not the fault of these men - well done them. Their commander needs to get rid of them. Jackboots always look awesome.
These guys are really good. Then again though, honor guards are always the gold standard. In my opinion, the Tomb Guards in the US are still the best. It's absolutely pristine in every way, they do it in every weather and situation, they won't show pain to any degree and are avowed to uphold the standard for the rest of their life. Their movements are simple but robotic. Just my two cents. I think these guys use way too much movement, but they're pristine nonetheless.
@@malcolmleighton2609 A mix of Nazi Germany and US. Mostly Prussian since Nazi Germany trained Taiwan's KMT army divisions for almost 6 years and the Weimar Republic 4 years before that.
@@theislerider9513 Was fuer ein total verbloedeter Kommentar (!) Trotzdem, Schoenes Wochenende.
