@@ToolShow you know you’re supposed to disclose that as a paid sponsorship right? The amount of people that don’t realize that even just getting free product should be disclosed too and essentially amounts to payment. Yikes.
@@chaseevans1522 No need to "yikes" Chase. Since the moment it was uploaded 2 years ago, it's had the "paid sponsorship" tag. It shows up the moment the video starts on both desktop and YT. This isn't a hobbie for us, this is a business. We take our jobs seriously. We're one of the few channels that ALWAYS discloses using the YT feature when a sponsorship is included. You might have missed it. Yikes.
Okay, hands down, this is the BEST explanation video I've ever seen! I love how you kept starting over with a "clean" unit and showed the attachment and what it did. It was so clear and easy to understand. Seeing all of everything (like at the end) and then just pointing to each piece would have been so intimidating and confusing--the way you overcame that by continually starting over was genius. I'm sure doing that for us took a tremendous amount of work and time, thank you so much for doing it!!!! Who would have ever thought that I'd be subscribing to a channel about tools, but I did. Yep, I'm the person who has to google a broad description of a tool to find out WHAT it is...and then how to use it.
I was just on Ryobi’s site last week looking at this stuff and was wishing they had an online builder to play with layouts before buying anything. Seems I got my wish pretty quick.
Thank YOU for providing the link(s) in the description!!! I was FAR to intent on watching this "snappy" video to actually hear the web link! This obviously took a lot of time, but it's VERY WELL DONE and ENTERTAINING!!! Bill
This was so well done! You guys did a great job. A great showcase but also a great way to present the versatility. I need a Milwaukee version of this, the search begins.
Great video, and you beat a lot of others to the punch.... and not a Sarah punch..... The other channels seem to be comparing this system to Milwaukee, because it is the bigger brother to Ryobi. The one issue the Milwaukee system has that I see as a problem is the wall mounts. I may be wrong here, but for some things, require a different mount, and they can't all cross over multiple mounts put together side by side. This Ryobi system doesn't have they problem. I was also surprised by the amount of weight it can hold per foot.
Well done presentation! Even though I knew it was an Ryobi ad, I really enjoyed it. My only problem is that I don't have Ryobi tools but Milwaukee haha. Please pitch to Milwaukee and do same for Milwaukee wall systems. Keep up the good work!
You guys are the best. You obviously put a lot into each video, but make it look effortless. Well done, as always! Chef’s Kiss at 1:10 as the Ryobi drill does NOT sound effortless to put in that 2” screw to secure the first hook. (Somewhere, out there, on the interwebs, I can hear Chacka Gillis putting his CAPS lock on…) Great video, and scrolling through the comments, I can see it was a great team effort. Way to go!
Filming with a bung voice like a pro Rob. I feel ya. Being up when your body is telling you nah, is tough when your job is to be up all the time on camera. I was sick for my last Makita update vid. One line at a time, breathe heavily, mouthful of water, compose thoughts, repeat. Then sit in bed editing while feeling like crap because... The show must go on!
Glad you liked it! If you enjoyed the snaps, you'll love the first video we made in this format, based on the Milwaukee Packout Platform ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QQaDn4LtKEg.htmlsi=9-CxNjCti_fsflOm
We're all waiting on 18v and 40 volt chargers for the wall rails. Also where did u get those 40 volt battery mounts for the rails. I can't find them online
I hadn't heard anything about a version 2, I'd only seen all the existing gear being marked as clearance items at my local Home Depot just a few months after being released. It didn't exactly inspire confidence in the line.
I wish the new pieces were available! I don't have the Link stuff, but would buy it to hang my batteries up. Have both 18V and 40V so those battery racks look awesome. Wish it was out, or wish there was an estimate when it becomes available! Side note I suppose this new stuff is why some is marked down in many stores....just going to drop some parts and add others to the store inventory. In theory.
I hope FLEX comes out with something like this. I like their color combination better than Ryobi's colors. More elegant. And I have invested on FLEX platform already, so that would be very convenient. But they take forever to bring new products to the market. Hope they do better.
The only problem I can see with the Link system is that it's not available here in the UK and as someone a bit obsessed with Ryobi tools and storage solutions, that's a bummer!
Wow, that looks so similar to team Red, but assuming cost a lot less 😉 So, will team yellow, red, be used w/ team green 🤔 But does it really matter, yes, yes it does for one simple reason…..if say use packout and have teams reds storage system like ryobi link, gonna want team reds storage system as packout will connect to it, and link will not.
video was great. I won't be buying this though. I currently use tough system and systainers, If I move ship I would go packout. I am thinking I will probably stick with what I got for now and go with something custom if I want to further my organization.
Sup guys I have been trying to figure out a way to send you an image of my new milwaukee packout setup be warned it may trigger a few diehard fans but it's funny is there a email or something I can send it too
No. "Add" is one of the four basic operations of arithmetic. But this IS an ad. There's a notice at the beginning of the video. "Paid promotion" That's why we're not reviewing it in this video, we're just presenting the full line so you know what your options are!
I don't get these storage systems, to me they are too bulky and waaay too expensive for what you get. They don't utilize space very well and not to mention, they look tacky.
That’s just not good enough . I don’t think the will hold my engines 350 or transmission ? So go big or go home . Guess you are going home ? I will stick with my system !
