I had the msk1 primative off david and its is a amazing blade and works well for me in all situations. David has done a amazing job with the pact1 knife, hes not just designing and making knifes, its his passion and it shows in the quality and build. Keep up the great work brother love from wales uk

Thanks for the comment brother! 1) Look for a $150ish version made in Central America in 2023. This may suit your budget better. We can't offer all price points at once with our small family run co. Cheaper USA version is IMPOSSIBLE. I won't compromise quality to do so. And no one else is capable of making this other than TOPS. 2) The handle jimpling is actually chamfered / tumbled and set into the handle slightly so there are NO noticeable "edginess" to the jimping - while you get the benefit of extra gripage, and channels to move moisture away. Funny. Designs 1-2 had a belly. It sucked-ish at "rock" chopping and didn't cut worth a darn after. Version 3 had a 2 lb. sledgehammer belly. It was great for rocks and sucked at chopping wood. Version 4 was best for both ; ) Yes. It does suck as a ferro rod. But the 1/2' diameter ferro rod striker on the pommel end works great. If you mean the little ferro rod that comes with the handle kit. Nothing longer will fit. It works for the semi-skill adventurer. We offer a our own custom designed ferro rod that bolts onto the sheath.
I would like to see all the naysayers design a knife, have it made and then market it. See how much that is going to cost you. It's not cheap. If you can't afford it then move on no need to bad mouth someone for doing it.

It looks amazing and very thought out. Love almost everything I saw. I’m no knife designer at all so none of this is meant to be negative. But why wouldn’t you just make a feral rod that mounts to the case. Two why not have a shaping block as well not a big one but it’s on the case. And why would you not put a built in compass on the case small but needed. Yes I get the magnetic needle but no. And 550 cord I see none and it is a staple to have In many situations. Why does it sit so low on the back as well it should sit right on the back where the belt is at? And fishing hooks are great but fishing line is small and light weight and multi purpose it’s needed more then the string and with 550 cord easy switch out. The case seems to be an after thought is all and in my opinion just as important as the knife for survival. If all it does is hold then it hasn’t been thought out. The blade was all the focus and it show cause it’s amazing. But for over $300 the case should be equally as functional. Love what I see but hope there is a round 2 for the high price.
I hope who ever makes this pocket guide books. The ones that fold up like a map. You have the regular one and the first AD one. This are the absolute best! Well made well thought out. I have a bunch, I pass them out as gifts. I think the information in them is top notch and the form factor is genius. What I would like to see , for whatever my 2 cents is worth. Is if you make more of those. I under getting all that Knowles takes time and laying out.. don’t short change it just to get them out. Maybe do a new one every year. Do a spirituality one using the Bible a survival. That’s different, and I would think a lot of people would love to have something layed out with some passages, and explanations for surviving: staying motivated. Moving forward etc… like when I need a pick me up you would have something like to pull out your pocket and open it up. That would be good for a lot of us::: if not that; then the sky’s The limit: it’s such a useable light weight product. Keep up that design. I’d love to do one spirituality one but it’s your guys design and property… it is Just my small request; I’d Buy a bunch of any new ones you hopefully create…

A USA made knife in 154CM with a kydex sheath and all the other included kit for $300……isn’t overpriced. Instead of such a long winded comment, just say that you’re broke and can’t afford it and move on
Well said! For those who are disappointed with the price point... I get that. If we could sell it for $99 we could... but that would be well below our actual cost. HOWEVER - As we did with the MSK-1 - our goal is to come out with a 1/2 priced PACK-1 Primitive sometime next year. We simply can't do both at once. We are a small family run business that dreams big and takes our time developing premium, innovative knives and gear that are unique and work... Hope this helps you all! ~David

Nice. No! All levels are below 0 db. Which is safe for human comsumption. There is something called "Volume." It can be adjusted on any device for your preferred level of loudness. There is something called Google. You can us it to search for things you don't know. Search, "How to turn the volume down on my ________". It will help you. All this said, we will consider your comment on future videos. Outside of that. Take a walk. Get outside. Fresh air, sunlight and a little exercise are good for the soul - and the disposition.
