I got my new patrol unit! Admin did very well when selecting the lighting package. The two lights in my front bumper are not functional, so I’ll need to get those checked. #policecar #fordexplorer #suv #bluelights #equipment
The Provincial Police (Ontario) in my community runs these exclusively next to the Chargers; honestly I gotta say they both do a good job at looking intimidating. Stay safe out there, from a friendly neighbour up north :))
Hello from New Zealand young man. I'm an 82yo Veteran soldier and former Government Highway Traffic cop from way back. Look forward to following your vids, which will remind me of my life a long time ago, (1960s). Merry Christmas to you and yours from my dearest wife and me. Bob NZ.
It’s hard to tell because they overpower the camera, but the light bar is actually blue and white. Each little section of it alternates between the two colors. I’ll do a slow motion clip of this.
@@justapatrolman4246 I could definitely see the white lights in the front and sides. It does seem that white and blue are super bright compared to red lights both during the day and night
Awesome! Just out of curiosity, What are Police Officers allowed to do when it’s slow? Like when a normal citizen passes by them when parked? I’ve never gotten a clear-cut answer to this from any officer. I know you made some funny videos in the past two years which I assumed were a comical parody of what can be done.
They’re comedic parody and also 100% true at the same time. When you pass an officer sitting on the side of the road, he’s either doing a report or he’s watching a review of a knife he’s just bought on RU-vid
@@justapatrolman4246 i was a deputy sheriff for about 2 years then I transferred over to state police and the new k-9 Explorers have a lot of power for chase And very durable
@Troopercasey-bz1mn must have been one built prior to the Covid lockdowns. We got these in October 2022 and they’re already falling apart lol. I asked about that and was told the lockdowns caused all kinds of issues with vehicle manufacture. And of course we have the regular v6 without the turbo so it’s not super quick. Louisiana police agencies don’t spend money on their cars like other places lol
@@justapatrolman4246 right and they should they definitely need some better budgeting brother and ours had the turbo and they were pretty good even our vics for being old could get up and run pretty good
The new FPIUs look gang good, love the design. It took me some time to get used to them, but now they've grown on me. Still tho, when I see the LAPD still rocking Crown Vics, my heart always skips a beat when I see one of those suckers. Panther platform 4 life baby. Which light bar are you using? Hard to tell, is it a Liberty 2? Much love from Germany. Watch your six brother!
Guten Tag! Ja, sie sind schön😊. Ich liebe das altes (not sure if that’s correct. “Old”) crown Vic. Sie sind besten Polizeiautos. Ich weiß “the light bar” nicht, aber ich werde suchen. I’m sure I just butchered your language, but thank you for the support! I’ll check on the light bar
@@justapatrolman4246 That was actually pretty good, Officer.😄I'm sure an FPIU is a lot more comfortable than an old P7B, not to mention acceleration with those EcoBoost V6 engines. Thank you my man!
