I'mma skip version 2.5 banner cause I'm saving my stellar jades for Aventurine and Sunday. I already have Robin and she wants to reunite with her Sunday Onii-chan.
I can agree with the extra rewards. It's too greedy for 3 reruns and 1 new character banner in the same phase/boat. It cause confusion. Also the 4 stars gonna be the same. So you can get extra eidolons. What if you already get it all and the 4 stars keep get the same. I mean pela, natasha, march 7th, etc. It's become repetitive and the tokens from eidolons is quite low. Not worth it. If I already maximize eidolons for 4 star characters, then I will be confused to gacha. Hesitate to get eidolons.
Me wanting E0 Robin, E1 Swan AND E2 Kafka. I have -1 of all three so like... Yeah hell no, when it comes down to it, Robin has to be priority because I skipped her to guarantee my E0S1 Boothill.
remember that it’s based entirely on speculation, they removed all banner data from beta testing in 2.0 so reruns will always be unreliable until officially announced

F2Ps are dead at this point. Imagine each patch they are introducing a unit and pairing them with a unit that synergizes that character the best in the rerun banner. Pure greed and evil.

Surely he'll be a good cope unit for Yunli in case I lose to Robin. I hope he won't be HMC 2.0 tho, you can only buff an already broken team so much, and if that's true look at the Linghsa situation, she's just barely better than c6 Gallagher lmao.

That's fair. As a long term player and very light spender... I find the release of characters rather comfortable. Certainly I can't pull every one or chase edilons often but the fact that I have a lot of characters already helps me choose who to skip. I can skip most.
I agree, saved 40k stellar jades and I'm ready to dump it all for feixiao, robin and even lingsha. So I'm very confident this time around by planning ahead for my future pulls
I'm quiet happy without adventurine,robin,numby,acharon,ect,ect I've justanaged to put together my second team to clear endgame so anything more I pull will be on a whim 😂
10:36 the reason it lasts only half a patch is because its a FOMO induced money grab banner system, well its better than whatever that genshin banner was
They definitely shouldve made the debut of the new rerun system gentler. There's no reason for the first half of the patch to be so *ungodly* stacked. I hope that they either stretch it out to last the whole patch or do something to decrease the overall amount of pulls needed. Some speculation on my part, but I think itd also be the best possible outcome.. since a "free item" was hinted at for next patch, what if its a free ratio *or* a free selection from the rerun banner? There's no way a f2p or even light spenders could get everything they want, so I think some kind of free character would be a fantastic move. good video, thanks for keeping us all informed

@@danielphillips3239 MOC 11 is difficult. It's stats check while MOC 12 is stats+skill check. You should check guides on their mechanics. Along with this you need above average relics and good LCs to clear it. + Increase you trace levels and unlock those fodder traces for some atk or crit.
good thing abt the new banner system is limited characters gonna rerun frequently. the downside is i bet hoyo gonna release new limited 5star characters more often. but nah, all my jade is for fate colllab lets fckin go!!!
Now I'm slightly regretting on spending all my jades on yunli and huohuo. Wasn't really too keen on feixiao and lingsha but I wasn't expecting robin to get her rerun so early. Hopefully they change it up a bit.

I really wanted to build a DOT team, but I'll focus on my FUA, since I already got Robin and Topaz. I'll pull for Feixiao E0S1 and E1 Robin, gl for me on those 50/50 🙏
I also wanna be rocking a dot team, since I already got Ruan Mei and huohuo from reruns, but honestly, I don't think I can get kafka or black Swan, cause I have won 6 50/50s (in a row), and I'm f2p and I think I won't make a full recovery after losing a 50/50..
I have faced this dilemma before soldiers got Firefly E1 and Ruan Mei in the same patch f2p. My advice just fing believe it and the world will listen they will hear your prayers 🙏 Feixiao and Robin are possible just keep believing
Insane marketing by those evil hoyo devs. This definitely works for people down bad for characters and their full team comps who are willing to spend but It damages their overall reputation of being f2p friendly (People who don’t spend but still cares about getting a decent team together) I personally saved around 150 pulls for black swan and hoped that Kafka would rerun later on, now that dream is shattered, my original urge of spending in case I don’t get e1 black swan is gone and I don’t feel like pulling for dot anymore. Thank you hoyo for curing my craving of spending money on a gacha game and curing my gambling addiction. Spend responsibly and know your limitations.
Same for me : i feel like i am & will remain F2P first and foremost. So this kind of trick is more a slap back to reality. However i love it, it is just a game and maybe i spend to much time on it already.
Im gonna stay F2P until I'm very interested in the limited rerun character if I can't get them. I almost have 80 pulls though. I want sliver wolf and maybe firefly.

Great video! Thanks for the info on all the reruns and what they do. I only started the game during the jade banner so my current limited characters are well limited (Jade, Yunli). I’m surprised they haven’t done multi-reruns before because those would be so good for profit lol. I’m totally ready to plow through the rest of my jades for Kafka and Lingsha since i desperately need a good lightning unit and Lingsha’s design is just 🔥. But I want Aventurine too… he’s so cool and I don’t have any preservation characters on my team lol. Subbed!

I think Sunday is going to be a hp support because hp is the only stat that is not buffed by harmony 3.0 leaks are hp units blade didn't get his rerun since 1.6 and jade comsumes hp to trigger passive (i know u gonna say copium) lingsha buffs break also it is about Sunday's psychological personality and joining stellaron hunter nember theory (Thanks for listening my copium lol)
Robin was the reason I started playing this game so I already have her but man this so early for a rerun. I guess I'm gonna have to wait for a little while longer to get her LC.
To be honest (as someone who played Feixiao hehe), the thing about her getting buffed was completely overshadowed by the nerfs, and it’s valid, the buffs aren’t as major as you think they are, Feixiao’s true best builds have gotten so badly nerfed, that in certain cases, she got a 77.7% dmg reduction, and yes, I mean that most literally. Feixiao was worth pulling in the v1 of the beta, but v3 just nerfed her so badly, that she’s 6 feet under. Personally, I’m still gonna pull her, just cuz of the Ult animation and her general design, but using her as a DPS is a wrong decision, that I won’t be making.
@@ettiquartz From what I can tell you, Feixiao was doing MAD damage, and yes, even tho the nerf was so extreme, Feixiao is still pretty powerful, and iirc, you can 1 cycle MOC 12, and if u get rlly good relics, you could even just maybe, with luck, beat MOC 12 in a 0 cycle run

Its honestly disgusting how they gave robin a rerun so soon just so they could make money from people who want feixao and her best team comp. But sadly this doesnt even surprise me. Its not the first time theyve done this. Firefly and ruan mei, Topaz and Robin, etc. They just wanna wring our wallets dry.
I'm pretty sure you could get both if you really wanted her, it's been some time since her last time in banner, you probably just pulled for any other character
It's also not make me surprise. From business standpoint, I can expecting hsr will become greedy along the way. Devs may seems to be generous. But not gonna last. It's like casino to hook gambler. Once you play, they make sure stay and give it all. Not knowing how long already gambling. You may feel manipulated by the company. What a nice move.
I dont have kafka or black swan, and i want feixao and lingsha. this patch might honestly get me to stop playing entirely. Who know when kafka and BS will be back after this if ever. unless hoyo gives like 100+ pulls worth of jades in the update, this is gonna be the end of my star rail journey.

I predicted this lol. When early Sparkle rerun happened, I realised that Hoyo's rerun banner strategy changed. The reruns were going to be based on either synergy with the newest release character of that patch (Ruan Mei rerun alongside Firefly was a huge sign - this exactly parallels rerunning Robin alongside Feixiao) or the most stellar-jade-sucking character at the most inconvenient time (Sparkle). And then I heard the leaks of HSR introducing the "Chronicled Wish" rerun banner and this only further confirmed my suspicions. In the past, the premise of all content-creator predictions for rerun banners was basically: "If a character hasn't gotten a rerun for a long time since its release, the likelier it is to get a rerun in the following patch". However, this assumption has obviously been destroyed by the new Chronicled Wish banner since it can just rerun multiple characters at once, which just makes all banner predictions meaningless.
It might make the predictions meaningless but if they did these often it would make the rate of reruns faster overall, which should help lessen that fomo of passing and being willing to wait on a rerun.
i feel like dot in hsr starts with kafka ends with kafka and makes a stop at black swan avenue and an optional detour for some of e2 (or even e0) jiaoqiu’s cooking
I really want jiaqiou, I love his style and adore his personality. But I really wanna start a DOT Team with black swan and Kafka, But that would mean I can’t pull for jiaqiou 😢 does anyone have any thoughts???
I’m pretty sure Jiaoqui is good with DOT teams, especially with Acheron and black swan. I’d say you should go for him if you really like him and definitely if you have Acheron. I think he’d work pretty well with Kafka too 🐸
If i were u, just skip JQ, Dot is such a great team u can use anywhere from pf to moc and it needs very low relic investment. JQ only really boosts acheron team, and at E0, he is mid on dot team. So just comes down to if u want to upgrade 1 team or have another really solid team for all content in the game.
i really hope sunday’s not imaginary. i feel like we recently have already gotten so many imaginary units already, and i really hope he’s ice. i just love the ice playstyle so much and honestly i feel like his design really resonates with ice. and for his path, i hoped for him to be erudition and not harmony cuz i wanted him as a main dps and i felt like he should be a bit different from robin?? but maybe hoyo will make him a harmony dps somehow? but if he’s a support i hope he buffs blade 🙏🙏
The new banner system might be new for HSR but not new for HI3 player tho, I didn't think they would implement it this quick. That said, it is prob not gonna last tho cuz FOMO is still a big part of gacha game, maybe 2.5 has some special meaning day for Hoyo? In HI3 its usually for big patches or anniversary
It's a good thing I already have Robin and am not interested in Kafka or Black Swan then. If it is for big patches or anniversary then I'd say it's a pretty good thing because people usually save for anniversaries anyways, so it helps people get what they want.
between wanting to pull for feixiao and robin and almost certainly getting moze via pulling on those banners, looks like im going to have to build a follow up team lol. kafka and black swan are so lovely but since i didnt plan on pulling for huohuo i feel like its a big investment to get into a DoT team rn. especially because sunday ;-; i feel a bit arrogant bc ive consistently won 50/50s but in my mind i tend to plan around needing 90-100 ish pulls for a single character and if i dont win the 50/50 on feixiao i will probably shrug and go for robin
I don't play often, but I'm still heartbroken I missed Aventurine's release banner (because I DESPERATELY need a preservation character + I main Silver Wolf and Boothill, so, yeah, USEFUL is an understatement)

As an Acheron lover (I don’t really subscribe to the idea of “mains” since Star rail feels very flexible) I was worried about Jiaoqiu getting in the way of my Feixiao savings but now I feel a lot more comfortable about saving for her and possibly an E2 Acheron and Silver Wolf Light cone. You’re awesome, and I’m totally subscribing! I also would love to see Sunday get confirmed for all the people who want him to be playable, I’d be very interested in joining the cult!

Well I'm screwed at patch 2.5. I wanted Feixiao and was willing to E2 her but then I've also wanted Kafka for the longest time (couldn't get her during her release, was talking a break during her first rerun) and Black Swan is a part of the DoT team so I was waiting for re-run too. and they're both on this new banner. I'm going to have to prioritize I guess especially if the special re-run banner only lasts on 1st batch of the patch.

If the reruns in 2.5 are true, I literally don't know what to do. I will have about 200 pulls at the end of the current patch, but I want Jiaoqiu to make my E0S0 Acheron somewhat viable, Feixiao to upgrade my IPC team and Kafka / BS to finally start building my DoT team. Most likely gonna go for Kafka and BS 'cause they might be good enough for Acheron
I already in shambles considering Jiaoqiu for my Acheron, Lingsha for sustain (yes I only have E4 Gallagher as my sustain, not good for my 2nd team), and now Robin popping out of nowhere really put my wallet as f2p in danger😢

Would you rather focus on what you have & make your Acheron team stronger ? Also at this rate, both Aventurine & Acheron could return in v2.6 in the same kind of triple banner, with an other v1 like Seele or Silver Wolf ?... For an Acheron team, i prefer Aventurine over Gallagher/Linghsa but i could be wrong.
I'm saving for Ratio's LC, maybe E1 depending how that goes & Aventurine's rerun to get as many eidolons as possible & his LC at least once (I lost when I pulled for his LC last time 🫠) I am prepared to spend money, idec. It would be nice if they did a refresh on the double oneric shard packs soon tho. 😭 But after Ratio I'm absolutely not pulling anyone until Aventurine's rerun, secretly hoping it takes a few months so I have lots of pulls saved up 💀
