I guess they want Beipi to dive more and rely on underwater locomotion to travel quickly. And obviously, for Hypsi, they need to enable growth for mutation.

Well it doensn't impact that much since beipi never move like that. They always have been slower on surface than uderwater and surface is basically where deino hunt, they wait a prey to be on the surface. So idk why they made this change but it's not impactfull For the Hypsi they alwais said it was gonna have a growth one days

How does two omnis able to pin an fg cera make sense.

@@OGAmmoMonkey 450kg x2 = 900kg on your back, Cera weighs 1400kg so ye, also the Cera has to have low stamina to get pinned down

It’s only the surface swim speed, nothing else. Making this out to be some terrible nerf is like saying that the terrestrial animal’s z walk is too slow. You aren’t supposed to be doing that when you want to get somewhere quickly. The actual method of traveling with beipei is, and always has been, the dolphin breach.

@@peasantkyr you lose alot of stamina, and is actualy not that good to travel.

@@dark_c_a_t8894 yes. You expend much more stamina, in order to move at much greater speed. That should not be a concern when a gator is currently on top of you. Worried more about mileage? Swim underwater. Because that is also literally the same speed as it was in the prior patch. We are talking about an animal with 3 to 4 different flavors of getting somewhere fast, and yet people are complaining about the single one that was nerfed. Dolphin, Under the surface, Glueing yourself to the riverbed and sprinting, and running around on land are all the same. Anyone who was surface swimming to get around before now, was putting themselves in a far worse position than most of the other options anyway. It’s far easier to get chomped on while floating, because you’re moving in a predictable manner and easily seen. Dolphin is easily seen, but far more difficult to time an ambush on, while swimming underwater is just infinitely better for stealth. Even with all the ragging I’m doing on it, the surface swim still has a use. It’s the one you can use scent in, and the one where you can take a moment to observe your surroundings, neither of which requires you to go Mach 5.

@@christydavis1184 Stego is like 13 times the size of an Omni, fending off 4 of them shouldn't even be a challenge to it.

@@christydavis1184 Also no, I just don't have a bias towards Omni, because omni being able to pin down animals over 3-4 tons is not something anyone other than someone with a bias towards Omni would want.

20% stam is fine imo, but they do need to change the weigh threshold, at least 80% of or exceeding

@@christydavis1184 regardless if they could or not it’s not fun to get pinned by something that’s less then half your weight even if two are required. Like I said if the player being grappled stam was more apart of it instead of combining the Omni weight to negate any processes that need to be met to pin I want Omni to be capable but I don’t want it to be broken or easy which this grapple seems to do for them with some more tweaks it could be a good rewarding tool in omnis kit right now that’s not it

@@KougaArt You don't need to be equal weight to wrestle someone to the floor. And when you add more people/things pulling in different directions, it makes it even harder to defend against. 70% I could see, but 75% means you are big enough to wrestle something solo, albeit with difficulty. So 80-100% weight makes no sense especially when you consider multiple attackers.

@@KougaArt To me pounce is OP since it's spammable, I think it would be better if they implement again the if you miss you are stun + increase value. I also seen some interessting idea where people said we could hold right click to prepare a pounce and realease to actually pounce. This way you opposant see if an omni is about to pounce.

And they are not supposed to kill it. It'd a counter part to allosaurus, they are both a higher tier playables. Carnos and ceras should stick to their niche.

Dibble shouldn't be a counterpart to allow, it should be styraco. Dibble realistically nearly gets over a ton.

Diablo was always a counter part to allo since legacy and always will. And the way they handling Diablo now shows it. So whatever you want or think does not matter, sorry.
