@heathermiddleton...his BP was probably too low too. I hope they straighten that out. My fiance has bradycardia and he has a pacemaker and it's set for 60 bpm. It was a game changer. I think Ralph's normal heart rate is around 40 or lower.
Tell Kyle, thank you for taking grandpa to the hospital. And thank you for taking care of his animals. We all are still praying for grandpa for a quick recovery. We know he misses his animals.

For the first 3 weeks, it would be hard for your dad. Getting app too quick, it's not a very good thing. Sometimes he has to sit on the side of his bed. Make sure that he's getting a lot of oxygen going to his brains. Things have things has to go slowly. Progress, not fast progress. If he has to go to bathroom that bad he could have a container and go in ithere's nothing wrong with that Montreal was not built-in the day. And one when people get all created on. After the sleep ageit's gonna take at least a week before it gets out of the system. I will pray for you for your recovery, but you have to take it easy. You can't go fast as you useat well sleep well, it takes it slower.🎉🎉❤❤

My brother was 63 when he had open heart surgery to replace his mitral valve. He ended up having to get a pacemaker, too. He was in the hospital longer due to contracting MRSA. Before he was isolated, he would walk the corridors using a walker. Please consider getting a walker while he is recuperating. Best wishes 🌸
Matt, get him a walker. I had one and it helped me to be steadier on my feet. I hope he’s ok. You and your brothers are “real” men! Thank you for showing the world what a “real” man looks like! I love all of you! ❤️
I'm surprised they didn't send him home with one, he'll be okay GOD'S continued healing powers upon him , Matt you're doing o fantastic Job , I used to get so much fun from when you first started now you're an avid farmer
All them medicine can do crazy side effect if you aren't used to it. Having the "runs" from medicine can make you dehydrated quick. It happens. Takes time for doctors find medicine that help and try different ones with less side effects. Been there. Dehydration is no fun. Has is own set of nasty consequences. Light head an see stars, pass out, dry heaves you name it. Electrolytes drinks is my friends. God bless everyone that struggles with this 🙏❤️
I understand too, my BP meds side effects is dizziness ( just wonderful right) . And stay out of the sun , but then now I’ve got vitamin D deficiency cause I’m not supposed to be in the sun.. no wins..lol
@@pamkammann1176I had skin cancer and advised to stay out of the sun. Now I have to Supplement Vitamin D and take Vit K with it. Can't win with half them medicines and side effects 🤷

I know Grandpa and Grandma are so Proud of All of you boys and I am too. I've been the one that had to be taken care of from surgeries and I've been the one that did the caring taking of others in my family. I know all of you are concerned with Grandpa's weight loss, but it's very normal, when I was in a coma I lost down to 65lbs from 138. Everyone keep praying it works, Grandpa never give up! 🙏🙏🙏
Matt, Thank you for sharing the news about your dad, I am so sorry to hear that grandpa has had a fall. I am sure Grandma was very worried . Thankfully Kyle was able to help getting him up and to the hospital. In yesterday’s video Ralph looked like he had lost quite a few pounds. Your parents have raised three wonderful men and I want to thank all three of you for being there for them anytime they need you. Prayers for all the Doss family members.

Hope and pray Grandpa will be okay, thank you for keeping us updated. I mentioned in Grandpa's video yesterday that maybe having a walker would help, I used one while recovering from surgery--I live alone. Mine had a seat on it too, and it helped me feel more secure and sure-footed. Thanks again, prayers for all of you, God bless.
My husband had a quadruple bypass 11 years ago. A week after being home, we we in the ER for lightheadedness and weekness. They cut 1 med in half. As the healing progressed his BP was too low! Ofcourse ongoing prayers!

Sorry to hear that your Dad got lightheaded and fell today. Loosing 20 lbs in a short period of time can make you quite dizzy. He is a brave man and is healing well from his surgery just that stomach issues are difficult. Your Mom is amazing and we all love her too. Sending prayers for his speedy recovery. I received my red heart pillow in November 2023, I am a very independent woman & don’t like to bother anyone (family) for help or assistance. I would like to suggest one of the walkers that has a seat to sit down when I got dizzy or light headed. I got one in May 2023 when I got very sick & passed out at home & lost a day because I couldn’t get up, then spent a week in the hospital marked as a fall risk. They would not let me go home without the walker. I only had to use it for a short time, but I did use it after my bypass surgery just to keep me from falling. I no longer use it (or the cane I use at uneven parking lots). It also gave me a seat to sit on to catch my breath & get my bearings again. I am praying for you all in the time. God bless y’all.

Oh no! He seemed like he was getting his strength back in his video yesterday. Thank goodness he's OK, but I'm sure it was scary for everybody. Wow, talk about chaos with the goats 😂. I must admit to watching the last video already. It was so comforting to see your daddy. I hope he will use the lift chair to avoid anymore hypotensive events. It's hard for a person as they age to slow down. Just think about it...we are taught to be independent and work hard in life then all the sudden we are older and we are expected to slow down. It just goes against everything we were used to. But we have to help each other to do what's best. I love you all dearly and you are always in my prayers. You have done so much Matt...I am so very proud of you! Thank you good and faithful son. Blessings~
Bless him, his BP is too low. It takes months to get used to a slower pulse and lower BP, sometimes the med's need tweaking to allow to be a bit higher. It's a challenge and hope it doesn't get him upset. The balance will be found ❤ Hugs from 🇨🇦

Yes, bumps in the road were well said! Your father is a very, strong man.... physical and mentally. I can only imagine how all of this surgery, recovering, stuff has rocked his world! I'm sure he has a hard time, with mom (LeeAnn/Grandma) taking care of him, every waking moment! Matt, you too are tough as your father! Stress is awful, worrying what can go wrong or even right....we are all thinking of the wonderful Doss Family! God is taking care of your father, we will all continue to "Pray On" as praying is a wonderful power we must use! Thank you for being❣️❣️❣️ Dizziness can be a challenge with any Medical condition. Possibly a Walker or cane may help a little when getting up and going slow. Thank goodness Kyle was there to help as well. Grandma is definitely a Rockstar❣️🤩💋🙏
