This reminds me of early 2010s youtube when beauty gurus weren't a thing and people would do tutorials for fun, the low quality camera, handful of products and normal lighting are so refreshing. I actually sat down in the dark to do my makeup along side her with the light from my laptop because I don't remember the last time I did makeup for fun. It's always for a shoot or sponsorship or content for instagram, I had started disliking makeup because it felt like chore and never perfect enough. Thank you for this.

What I learned so far from watching e-girl make up tutorials: all girls doing this kind of make up already look extremely cute and pretty without any makeup.

𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒆 -Cover girl concealer, blend with fingers - Nyx ultimate eyeshadow palette (Use pink colors) On cheeks, nouse on top of your mouth, blend w fingers - Maybelline fit me powder with a elf fluffy brush where you get oily - Contour nose - White nyx eyeliner (jumpo pencil in the shade milk) idk how to explain so here it is 5:44 -Take the same nyx white eyeliner in the inner corner of your eyes -For Freackles, use a crayola brown marker (on cheeks, and nouse) and blend - For Brows, Anastacia Soft glow palette, and with a angle brush apply - Nyx Micro brow pencil to create the ilution for some brow hairs Eyes: take the same shades from contour under your eyes. - Nyx epic inc eyeliner, agian, cant explain cuz is pretty difficult 10:23 - For the bottom eyeliner, Take the same eyeliner and from the outer corner of your eyes draw some lines "lashes" - Use the same white eyeliner as before and put it on the waterline (just put it where the eye ends) -Use some shadow where the eyelashes where to cover a little bit the mess - For mascara, use the Loreal voluminous lash paradise, On Top and bottom lashes -For eyelashes, use the Eyelore definition lashes, Put the lashes on the middle of the eyes. - Coat eyelashes with mascara again, you can make -Use the pink Nyx pallet colors that you used for brush on your Cupids bow and on the botton of your lip too -Take the white eyeliner and put it again on the areas that you did before, just to make it stando out a bit more 18:14 Tadaaaa :)

REMEMBER SHE HAS A DIFFERENT EYE SHAPE! her eyeliner might not work for you if you don't have the same eye shape so don't feel bad if it doesn't look as good! just find one that works for you!

The eye shadow and liner makeup is perfect, came out very creative.

She looked completely like a different person without makeup. That eye makeup or whatever it's called really did changed her look !

For a more subtle look follow the steps bellow: It still gives a similar look but less dramatic and a bit more appropriate for like school and stuff. Or if you are between the ages of 12-15. 2:00 - concealer 2:46 - blush (using eyeshadow) 3:38 - powder face 5:20 “highlighter” 10:00 - eyeliner but more subtle 13:58 - mascara 14:56 - lashes (optional)

So, personally egirl style isn't really my thing. However, as someone who went to college for animation, the eye makeup specifically FASCINATES me. From what I've seen, egirl eye makeup is very, VERY inspired by the way that character artists and especially manga/anime artists draw eyes! From the very exaggerated wings and long pointy lashes, to making the eyes look larger with white on the waterline, everything is meant to give the eyes that big cartoon-ish effect. It's the coolest thing ever to me! I adore drawing big cartoony beautiful eyes on my characters, and the fact that there are ways to make your real eyes look like that just with certain makeup techniques is something I HAVE to try now! :D

Full tutorial (watch the video for technique specifics and also because it’s fun to watch): Part one: the base ⚾️ Step 1: Concealer (use normally) Step 2: Pigmented blush (on cheeks, nose, and above and below mouth.) blend out with fingers. Step 3: Face powder (tap in t zone, and where you get the most oily. less where you’re less oily) Step 4: Contour! (Follow noise line with thinner brush.) Goal: Button-y nose Step 5: white eyeliner on the side of my nose, dot in the center. white eyeliner or highlighter in inner corn of the eyes Part 2: Freckles ☺️ Dots with crayola marker, blend in a little bit Part 3: Brows 〰 Sideways brush, follow direction of hair, keep symmetrical Part 4: Eyes! 👀 Step 1: Countour under eyes Step 2: Felt tip eyeliner. Put a little under the corner of the eyes. Draw the line up, following the brow angle. Take the end and drag towards the eye, keep it under the crease. End in the center of your top eyelid. Fill it in! Quick tip: use some rags to clean up the makeup Step 3: Bottom part of eyes. Draw lines to make lower lashes. Step 4: Take white eyeliner and go put it on the waterline on the bottom part of your eyes Step 6: Mascara! Coat top and bottom lashes Step 7: Apply fake lashes Step 8: Coat the lashes with mascara Part 5 Finishing touches ✅ Step 1: Use angle brush a little above Cupid’s bow in brown to round it out (and a bit at the bottom) Step 2: Add a little more blush if you want Step 3: Use white eyeliner to make specific areas pop (she did it on the corner of the eyes and center of the nose) Step 4: Apply some chapstick And you’re done! ❤️
