I keep coming back to this video. I am searching for a small home. I watch different small/tiny house videos and they all seem so staged and museum like. Most people want to see a home that’s lived in, and realistic. And you’re budget conscious which is what most of us Americans are. Job well done with this video. 👌

This is why I love you and your channel. You are so real. I love my house to be inviting and lived in too. I want my guest to be comfortable and not be afraid to sit down or touch anything. In your kids bathroom, you could paint the frames silver to go with your mirror. Glass doors, it helps to keep a bladed squeegee for fast clean up.

When we bought our house our shower doors where horrible and my dad made them look new all he used was the Lysol toilet cleaner gel . That's what they use in his work to clean the windows and it works like magic

First, I love how you love your doggies! I love our pets the same ! Our first house was 1040 square feet and it was all we needed and now 47 years of marriage later, we are retired in a house that’s about 2040 and I wish we had our first one again! It was the perfect size and I loved it! Your house is perfect and I love watching so much!

I clean my shower glass walls by viewing on RU-vid “clean my Space” her bathroom clean up. Very informative ad it was for me by using pure vinegar and dish soap and baking soda to scrub with a soft scrubber. Don’t use a stiff scrubber it will scratch the glass. I hope this helps. Also you have a lovely home and you do a great job.i also have porcelain tile that looks like wood, but mine is dark and I have to mop more often and it’s only me. Everything shows on my floors. I just moved from a 3,000 Sq Ft to 1,800 sq Ft condo. It was quite a downsize from 4 bedrooms, 3 full size baths to a 2 bedroom, 2 bath. I’m still having to figure out where to put everything. I’ve been here 6 months and I’ve already moved things around. I want to thank you again for all your wonderful hints.

😍I just love the tile in your kids bathroom please don't change those as for the glass shower doors it's impossible but if you just find a method of wiping them down after everybody showers if that becomes a habit of wiping him down then it does stay clear but chances are it's not going to happen so I replaced mines with curtains and it works just fine.

I have a bed almost like yours and kept bumping and bruising my legs on the sharp corners. I got peel and stick cushy white corner bumper pads from Amazon. Works much better now and a pretty comforter tossed over the side that’s visible from the doorway if and whenever company ever comes over... it works! And no more pain!

I love the before .it is so nice to see a normal size home for a change. Most of us haven't the money for large homes. I feel dusconected from most of the ones on you tube.mine is 3 bedroom, one bath.no dinning room. Table in the kitchen. I love the way your home looks. So pretty and homey.

I loved the tour! You’ve done a fantastic job in the house. We had kitchen cabinets, countertops and flooring installed a few months after we bought our house and I absolutely love it! I think a princess canopy above your daughters bed would be adorable! They have them on amazon in different colors and they are so adorable and very affordable. 😊💕

Your house is gorgeous! I love all the love and care you and your husband put into it! As for the glass shower doors-one part dish soap (I use dawn, or the Sam’s or Costco version of it) to one part vinegar. They say put it in a spray bottle but I like it in a Tupperware and I scrub and lather it all over the doors with a scrub brush. Let it sit for 20-30 mins then rinse and scrub it off. They look brand new, also we squeegee them after every shower to minimize the build up.

I incorporated barn doors into my kitchen when we remodeled, which were ordered. I totally recommend building your own, they are expensive and heavy. Dollar tree sells stuff called lime away and I swear by it for cleaning the bathtub. Our previous house had HORRIBLE water and it stained the bathtub a nasty yellow orange color and nothing would take it off. I watched a video by chic on the cheap and she recommended it and it was a life saver. Our new house doesn’t have the hard water but I still use it. I’m not sure how it would work on glass, but for a dollar, it’s definitely worth a try. 🙂 also, your home is beautiful! I love it!!

I love your home and how far its come! So beautiful! We also have an older small home that we've been working on! Our food storage is also limited and ours is awkward. I found a rolling can organizer and it seriously makes me so happy and makes it easier for me to see what we have !

The size of the house is perfect!!

You're island is very cute! A tip for filling cracks, there is a product called plastic wood. You can get it at Walmart or any hardware store. My Dad has a cabinet shop, this is his go to for filling cracks. Its what I use when painting furniture and filling old holes on drawers if I am changing out the hardware. It drys very quickly. You can fill, wait the appropriate time, give it a little sanding and paint right over it. This product will also hold stain too.

You guys did a great job on that island so you could totally make your own barn door! The slider hardware is kind of spendy but it’s still cheaper than buying and already made door.

I love your home. It's so nice to see a young couple with a realistic size house (like I had at that age). Just an idea: when you take down that mini wall, have you ever considered putting a pantry on that wall facing into the kitchen? You've got enough depth on that wall so that the pantry doors wouldn't run into the refrigerator doors. While it would close off the space a bit, it might be worth it to have all of that storage and then you wouldn't have to bend down all of the time to get your food. Just a thought.

Hahaha the storage container bathtub!! Yes!! Same we are in a camper and it only has a shower so that’s what I have for my lo to take a bath. Funny thing is the looks I got in Walmart while we were testing the different sizes out!!!

A friend of mine built their own barn door and just ordered the hardware from Amazon. I’m sure you and your husband could do it after seeing all that you’ve done so far.
