Dude, your review videos are just straight up the best. Straight to the point, straight to the beamshots. I don't need to be read every single spec of a flashlight wasting the first ten minutes of a video, I can read stats myself and I more than likely have read all the stats before even watching a video on any given light, just annoys the crap out of me when people spend 10-15 minutes reading word for word specs, just get to what we are all here for, which you do perfectly

Finally, Wurkkos is stepping up and finally implementing worthy upgrades to their products! This was a great step forward for the TD01. I hope Wurkkos follows suit and begins upgrading the rest of their productline the same way with constant current drivers because they'll sell a lot more flashlights if they do. See I prefer the Td01 just because it's brighter, not gobbs brighter yet noticeably so as I'm only doing short turbo bursts spotlighting, the new deiver is a downgrade to me in my usage. I might suggest comparison of applying the td01s turbo again after a minute into the step down to see the difference in brightness and then stepping down again. Great reviews none the less thank you!

I'm sold. If they put this new driver in the Sofirn SF26, I'll buy that one as well as I like the switches on that one. The buck driver doesn't just help with initial stepdown from Turbo, it'll also help with High and Mid modes, arguably even more so. I think a lot of people have been waiting for this exact upgrade from Wurkkos for the TD01. This just turned the TD01C into a dependable workhorse and an excellent alternative to Acebeam's L19.2. Thanks for the comparison!

The timing to market is bad for me. I bought the Acebeam L19.2 during 11.11 sale and never looked back. I won't be needing another thrower for a long time. The thing is TD01C should have been the TD01. They got greedy and kept using FET driver for the entire line up. Saved 2 dollars for each light and lost countless sales.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that it took so long. I ended up grabbing Firefly's T1R as I couldn't wait for a viable alternative to the L19.2 a couple months ago. But I still need more duty use throwers, and this may just convince our group to bulk buy these to use for SAR purposes.@@bozilla9975

Was waiting for this review. I got the TD01 In matte black and My TD01C Is on the way ✌️✌️ (The old one drops at 500 lumens after 2/3 minutes and the new one stays at 950/1000 lumens)

Its like when i bought Emisar and get the boost driver. Its not as bright but last much longer without getting too hot and stepping down. Unless you only plan to use it for 30 to 60 seconds at a time the more efficient driver is better.

Thanks for the review. This is where the Anduril II UI may help maintain a more constant output. You can calibrate the temperatures at which a light dims using A2. Am I right about that?

I am impressed. Did Wurkkos fix that outside ring in the beam? That bothered me in the old one, and I wish they offered it with the 5000K and 3000K too.

No, the ring is still present on this new version. The only difference is the matte ano and the driver. Strangely 2x click from Eco gets strobe instead of turbo, must be a bug.

Hello sir. It's hard to answer sir. I think SF26' dual tailcap switches are great but constant output is not as good as TD01C. TD01C's access to strobe by double checking is not as easy as Sofirn C8L. So I think it depends on your usage sir. If you need constant brightness on high, TD01C is good. I had the TD01 but a friend like it and I sold it, than I buy the SF26 and I like it more the dual tail button is form me more practical, the finish looks better and the protected USB port is very nice, but if I feel the need to buy another one I think I would go with TD01C just for the better performance, but if they put this driver in the sofirn it would be a harder choice, olso the sofirn looks better in person that in the pictures
