I had two thoughts when using this gun. 1.) The Secret Service would likely find it useful. 2.) It looks like it would be useful in maintaining a well-regulated militia. Just saying....
Knife laws are weird now with modern designs. Manuals can be deployed just as fast or faster than some auto knives. They are dumb too, I live where ANY auto knife and double sided blade is illegal to carry, but legal to own(makes zero sense, I know)
@@rico76 yeah, used to have the same problem where I live. Couldn't have a spring-assisted action, blade in excess of 6 inches in length with no longer than 3 inches of non-serrated cutting edge. Bought one of those cheap S&W knives at a gun show and filed down the serations. Opened it up and tossed out the spring. A little ballistal and it's better than ever. I don't like to carry expensive knives because if I ever have to use it, I know the cops are gonna take it and never give it back. Happened to a friend who *didn't stab* but held a would-be mugger at knife point till the cops arrived. Don't know which one but it was a $300 cold steel folder.
Thank god! Finally! *floats away to international waters to shoot full auto SBRs and anti tank guns* *realizes gravity ban doesn’t apply in international waters, falls into ocean and dies*
@@mechadonia dude, honestly though. I wish there were an island in the world we could all hang out, shoot cool guns, drink and fight. I know it seems "Chad" but that shits just fun.
100 rounds mag violates various gun laws, and its there for a good reason, plus 100 rounds would make the drum mag a money eater and full auto...................... well you will have a terrible day trust me, plus a drum mag with 100 rounds would be quite heavy and put quite a bit of wear and tear on the loading slot, plus Glock mags are a plenty and plenty of know how on the manufacturer's part
@@Wolfwood428 Wait I believe by going off old memory, some gun accessories are legal but shouldn't however they are not exactly easy to get like one factory would produce the accessory but its a case of few and short supply but pricey, now you could make an extended mag but depending on the caliber and the gun the results may vary, but I can tell you that if you go to certain parts of africa you can own any gun even without a license as there is no real government to enforce any law
@Optic64654 Don't get caught. The police, and the government, only catch the slow ones and dumb ones. The exception is when the feds, or police (depending on their budget) concentrate efforts to after you. Then, if they can't find something on you they will make something on you; so stay off their radar.
@@TylerB-my1kr removing the NFA is an excellent start the GCA is the Gun Control Act, interesting enough is that the Firearm Owners Protection Act also had the Hues amendment in it which banned ALL post 1986 full auto and auto sears for individual ownership, it was slipping a micky in the drink. If you find a "pro gun bill" you must analyze it closely make sure they didn't sneak any text in there which is slipping a micky.
It’s great for law enforcement. A small light weight compact SMG works perfect for mowing down small children while serving no knock drug raids on the wrong house.
Plantman Whoreticulture Even though they are allowed them most ‘professional’ police departments are moving to ‘semi-auto’ only polices as full auto is very hard to justify in court and very difficult when it comes to collateral damage
Plantman Whoreticulture I think that a cop needs one in full auto, it’s a bad day. I also think that if a cop is going into harms way, I think he/she should have the best equipment available. I know that’s sound logic and it might frighten you. It’s okay, we’re all gonna make it. 😉
@@chinesesparrows They're paying for all the parts and armorer training that go along with the gun, that's not what they are paying for the gun by itself.
Cold warrior here. I fired the M3 grease gun a few times as a cadet as part of my M60A1 training. Cool looking, fun to shoot .45 ammo, but not accurate. It was however, really good at spitting a bunch of lead downrange for short range suppressive fire. Would have loved to have this modernized version in my OH-58 in the Air Cav.
Those notches on the stock also make sure that nobody without an operator beard dares to get a cheek weld on it. Those who attempt it while being shaved do so at their own peril.
Good company. Very interesting stuff. That beauty is no exception, looks very controllable and simply usable! When you look closely it resembles a crossbreed between an hk ump and an m4 pratform
Always, ALWAYS impressed with your videos and information provided therein. Anyone not active duty and sans opportunities to actually go through a Foreign Weapons Indoc or similar course I HIGHLY recommend your vids and channel. Good on you brother, and remember RLTW!
I'd like to see a compact safe sized for this weapon along w/space for additional mags; What's the story with the MAC jacket in coyote? Looks comfy and roomy and since it's featured prominently in the video there must be a whole line of clothing to go with it. Avoid dressing like James Reeves; No slobs allowed on this channel!
@@Preygrantess at least he should know his history about ironic firearms and not give it such a look down like it couldnt do anything, its a design of its time but served well and made many finns proud
Pity its not .45 ACP like the Kriss Super V. It stays on track though no creep up or sideways. Ever tried to fire a Sterling SMG on Auto ? High and right, cannot hold it down.
no matter how well you design the collapsible stock, the truth is that people will design a buffer-tube adapter and start to use AR15-compatible stock in a month... Just saying.
This is a really cool firearm but I can't help but ask the obvious question. Where are we going to use this? Most military's have body armor so I can't see this being all that effective in war.
what for? You have the mk18 in rifle cartridge, you have the MP7 on a smaller high velocity cartridge. This is a "business decision" not a practical one.
This gun is intended solely for personal security details that protect high ranking officers and VIPs. The close protection teams wanted something that could be carried unobtrusively, but could spit out more ammo than a handgun.
@@truthdefrag Those create logistical difficulties with the ammo, 9mm is ubiquitous and easy to resupply. If body armor clad kidnappers or assassins were at all considered a credible threat, they would step it up straight to an intermediate cartridge, perhaps .300 BLK in a compact carbine like the SIG MPX Rattler, rather than mess with high velocity AP pistol rounds at this point.
New semiautomatic 10mm handgun because a 9mm was 1mm not getting it done. New full auto pistol aka submachine gun uses old 9mm round that will use a nonmilitary grade Glock magazine. Does the 10mm round not feed correctly in a full auto platform?
Sort of disappointing for me their isn't a widely adopted modern PDW in the US military, like the p-90, mp7, cbj-ms or whatever, their own one. Something faster than 9mm for the military, seems under-powered for the weight of carrying it.
I WANT it now! But I'd have to sell "My Precious", my FN PS90 and all my 5/7 ammo AND my custom mag pouches. Just too painful. Sooo... maybe I "need" both?
Wait so if yo're law enforcement or in the army you get to buy your own weapons'? All we were allowed to do in canada was get some extra kit, like boots and jackets....
Great little smg. Almost perfect. With one small flaw.. the price. Only few will be able to enjoy it (excluding the army). Seems like fun time at the MAC range.
I kill human underground and keep them alive begging for a well people to help. It been 9 year in TX. Resent ly. Keep 50 people die around me. Are is that a plan B wifey.. confusion of live plan. My be it my first child. It could have been 60 of them in one individual pot. ??] Huh.?] Weird human game. Long time.
Fully ambidextrous, Glock mag compatible. Plenty of rail space for lights, sights and grips. Fires reliably when the stock is collapsed. What's not to like? Mebbe Franklin Armory will make a binary trigger for the civilian version.
@@rustyshackleford9604 I've heard the same. MAC just did a follow up reliability test. I'll wait a couple of production cycles for everything to work itself out. I think in the mean time I'm just going to get the fx9.
@@rustyshackleford9604 rather have an ar chambered for a higher power cartridge. Downsides of living in the open country depending on how you look at it.
Near MP5 control, in a much smaller package, NICE! Now we just need to get the 1986 ban on newly manufactured M.G's sold to the public overturned and I'll be interested!

@@TheDoorspook11c Well... if you mean the weight and size of the large 45 Cal. cartridge..? making the magazine itself kinda heavy... and 45 cans and crates are not easy to carry around... maybe for side-arm amounts... but they definitely can lay down a thick spray... but trying to focus and/or concentrate your fire on a small position or target more then a stone throw away was practically impossible... for myself anyway!!
