Gonna have to dock a few points there due to these few things: 1: while having NJ in is a good idea, Her cross fleet buff USN carriers. Also, her third skill firepower buff doesn’t buff Kearsarge. 2: Retro Helena’s third skill makes it that she can’t be in the back of the vanguard. 3: point for using Bristol, but Ingram is better for survivability.
I have considered all those things. NJ actually brings survivability because of her buff to both Helena and Bristol, who definitely need it. Also, Helena is an okay off tank. Her skill doesn't make her unusable in the back position at all. It just means I can't take advantage of her EVA buff. However, I have been thinking about switching Bristol and Helena's positions so Helena could buff Bristol. I just would like to wait until I have Bristol and Kearsarge maxed before attempting that. BTW, Ingram brings NO damage boosting skill for the back line. She's not better than Bristol.
Neat! I have all the units to mimic your USS fleet. Don't have the gear though. Lol. 😅 I have Bristol, but haven't leveled her yet. And Kearsarge Dev 30 will be a long while because I'm still trying to finish Plymouth Dev 30 first.
Yeah, Dev 30 is a long way away for me too. I've got her at Dev lvl 15 right now. Bristol is actually really good since she's an Allen M. Sumner class destroyer and unlike most DDs actually has good survivability and DPS stats for her class. All this on top of having a really great buff. She's very underrated
Accuracy is something BBs and BBVs hunger for. Also, the homing beacon benefits Kearsarge's airstrike reload, but the autoloader benefits the reload of both her airstrike and her main gun. I'd rather benefit both for now. Maybe testing her could reveal something different later
@@oldgamesinvestigator7852 currently I’m running homing + auto loader, I’d rather have 400 AV at dev 30 + permanent 4% faster air strikes since 1 of her red skills launches an extra Lvl 10 strike when you launch your planes, which triggers her yellow skill effect of special burning for 10 seconds. Also chapter 14 has the worst stages for BB in general so buffing accuracy doesn’t really matter in the end because all the shells go everywhere regardless of where you aim.
nobody uses the long range aa, or at least nobody in their right mind; also most of kearsarges damage will still come from guns, not planes, so a beacon with its measly 4% is not worth it at all
It depends really. The fact that anchorage is in this fleet already told me this wasnt a team made to display the pure power of the USS fleet. For opsi, with the gear uve equipped, its fair to assume to this is a light armored specialist. The problem with this is that, you are using a "3 launch" setup which basically means after 20 second, which would be fine if temperance didnt literally have a shield against that, so meaning you would be forced to manual, something a "powerful" fleet generally does not need. Instead, you could used a 4 launch setup with york2 kear enty and fast gear and it will full auto it no issues. Additionally, forcing the 20+ second timer for NJ by forgoeing hfcr or table is grief because you are giving up the amount of barrages that she can fire off, you can do ur own testing for that, but from my testing, losing a full salvo to swap a hfcr for black shell is never worth it, that and the fact that losing the HIT from hfcr for a black shell is a damage loss too. Not to mention, you said you would use table + loader for kearsarge, while using black white for NJ, makes no sense since that doesnt sync. For the vanguard, unless you actually have survivability issues, which personally, I dont ever, just use balti bristol helena. And I know you know this, aurora would obviously be better than bristol here. For meta, its the same thing really, york2 kear enty would still be better. Kearsarge's 30% damage amp for cvs is just too good to not using double cv. Vanguard would be similar, but if you do have problems I suppose Anchorage might work. All in all, kear just works so much better with double cv that there realistically is no reason why you are going NJ over Enty. Im also not sure why you never mentioned Enty, but mentioned that you were debating between York2 and Independence? which shouldnt even be a discussion since york2 provides that AA down debuff that kear wants in her skills, indep doesnt have that, not to mention, indep doesnt buff kear at all, and neither will she buff NJ at all, if you went with ur original comp.
@@umitatsuya2492 I have to set up a stream so I'll reply to this later, but I have thought of all that stuff. I disagree. Also, my focus is more based on a generalist fleet rather that can handle nearly all armor types in most situations. I'm not looking for focus on one armor type. I'm looking for a balanced fleet, as I have said many times in my previous fleet faction vids. This fleet does that pretty well I think, but I'll need to get Kearsarge up to dev lvl 30 before it can be settled with testing.
@@oldgamesinvestigator7852 What parts do you disagree with? I cant think of. But if you are looking for a generalist fleet, it still doesnt make sense to go helena or bristol, who are not good mob fleet ships. Not to mention, if everyone in ur time is timed the way it is right now, that does not make a mob fleet at all. This can only make a boss fleet, but then again, going HE in heavy armor does not seem like its gonna do "pretty well" at all, good luck with ur stream, ill be looking to see ur reply
