I started out with Turbo, especially when I joined the Webber International collegiate bowling program. My problem was that my thumb holes were all different sizes and shapes, so I went to a local ball driller and got the Switch Grip installed in all of my bowling balls. I rocked with this ball driller and Turbo from the time I graduated from Webber until I had to go on hiatus after joining the military. I started bowling again a year and a half ago, and I now rock with Vise and the IT.
I use vise grips throughout all the balls that I use and I am looking forward to throwing 2 overseas exclusive balls from Storm and Roto Grip Korea, Rubicon Attack, and Code Battle.
Last night i go 182 with crimson jackal. Pro shop drilled this ball handed it to me for 2nd game shot 247,257 with it. 1st 2 games. Very smooth controllable ball. At least for me. Pin up in in the middle of fingers about 2" up and ring in the cg
Turbo is great and my second choice, maybe third behind jopo, but I currently use ultimate for my interchangeable and grips I just prefer their specific feel:
Looking for a ball for dryer conditions, in between a few I’m a one handed bowler that uses thumb any guidance towards what to buy would be appreciated. In between the Supra rally, hyper venom, venom shock, and night road! Thank you in advance for any help
Thanks for the ball review but it would've been nice to see you guys throw this ball on a lane that had very light oil. The league lanes will still have oil on them and you wouldn't be able to see the real reaction. Thanks
Wanted to add. Another video posted re this ball shows it kik' azz on regular house shot. So, maybe NOT a dry lane ball. More like an oil cutting beast.
Would of liked to see this ball compared to the ball that it replaced in the motive lineup (supra enzo) just to see if there is any difference. I had a enzo and totally didn't like the ball at all, changed the surface tried everything and still didn't like the ball motion, how does this venom compare?
Its a Sym Pearl so it would be long and sharp, which might not be the ideal line. But any ball can play any line, just may not be the best outcome for scoring!
