I saw the video of how he just mindlessly opened fire as the one kid was turning the corner to go back to class from the bathroom, and I wish I had been a police officer on the scene because I would have shot through the door to the room he was in and yelled something along the lines of "I'm going to kill you, you m----f-----!!" and started lighting the shooter up. The one cop had a long-range assault rifle and retreated to fifty feet away from the door. Small-town cops with no masculine qualities

And the parents didn't have all the PPE that the cowards did, my question is fine they pussed out, why stop the parents who had the courage to go in.

Elizabeth I totally agree with you. Was that what they were trained for in any kind of dangerous situation. Forget about holding a child hostage he was killing them already. Why negotiate when they should have went down every classroom quietly put themselves against a wall and at least peak into the doors to see if they see him in the classroom. Well they can be safe if the government did its job. The killer has a long history of violence and psychiatric issues. He filmed himself carrying around bags of cats that he killed and had plenty of interactions with the police for domestic violence yet he had no paper trail. If the government did its job he would have immediately been declined for that fire arm purchase.

Charging in to save the kids lives...what if charging in made him shoot more of them? NO ONE had been in that situation before. Not the kids. Not the teachers. Not the shooter. Not the cops!! You can train all you want, practice until you drop and nothing prepares you for the real thing! Kids can train for a dance recital, does that mean they don't mess up some aspect of it during the actual thing? The police chief told them to stand down. You can see how many of them were ready to rush in the second that they were allowed to. Do you know what would happen if the cops died? I mean it all depends too though, did the shooter still have hostages? Did he have other firearms? Any other weapons or traps that might be laying in wait? How well is he fortified? Remember the Dallas shooting? It took a robot with explosives to finally go in without risking more lives, the shooter was that well trained and that well fortified. I doubt they were negotiating with him for his safety, just a way to try get him to come out without risking more lives + without the possibility of collateral damage towards the kids. It's hard to decide what's right in real time with lack of information.

All cops involved deserve the same fate. And karma always come back around.
