JenMarie's exhibition currently on view at New Village Arts through May 17th, Cultivating Dreams in Unlikely Places, was created in response to reading the script for The 39 Steps. For her, creating an exhibition inspired by a play script was a new and fascinating experience. The combination of noir elements, romantic adventure, collective anxieties, and courage were heavy influences. The director of The 39 Steps, Dr. AJ Knox, is a writer, director, artist, educator, and actor. His work focuses on history, practice, and theories of comedy. Having produced, performed in, and directed numerous plays and musicals, AJ has a wealth of experience and humor to share.
