Currently got a Touareg R.. it’s absolutely pleasure to drive.. I used to have merc GLE43 and Touareg is by far much better although I’m a merc fan.. but that’s the truth.. VW did an excellent job with the new Touareg..
I've recently bought an R version, it's my 4th toureg, it absolutely astonishing to drive, let's face it, we can't drive like we're on a track, it so comfortable and effortlessly quick. The cooled seats are lush, as always the AC is extremely efficient, cooling the entire car in no time. The more I drive it, the better it gets. I regularly get 27 mile round town on battery only, I mostly ony use the engine at weekends. Working out very economical 😊
How many of this will you see parked at the side of the motorway compared with a Disco very few I would think broken down Discos and range rovers are a common site
The Touareg's biggest problem is that its too close the its corporate siblings. Anything it can do, they can do batter. Sure its cheaper, but by the time you get to the 70-80k mark, that difference becomes insignificant. Those shopper will just get the more premium brand. The only way to sell he VW in that case is for it to specialize in an area its corporate siblings cannot. For example, the first generation of Touareg offered lockers for the rear, and center. Making it a fully fledged off-road capable SUV.
Hey one quastion. (When baterry and engine works together, when battery gives boost to engine) Do battery automaticly charging when driving a car? or you need to charge by yourself, i dont talking about driving in electric mode only.
Hey! You should charge the battery by plugging the car in, but if you run low on energy, the engine can be used to charge the battery. But it drinks a lot of fuel if you choose this method 👎🏼
@@mihakocjan3602 Don't even consider it as a hybrid. Its a terrible implementation of the hybrid system. Not enough range on electric and waste far too much fuel with running on the engine alone. Its just something to full the hybrid void.
Please look at how polluting the EV actually is, look past all the BS they are feeding you & ask some questions around what they’re doing with expired and faulty batteries, including the cost of replacement. EV’s in their current format are the worlds next ecological disaster in the making.
Tesla are JUNK cars compared to the quality of Volkswagen and ANYONE with eye for detail will see it.
