I can see how this conversation goes: "Tim cracked the windshield in the 160. The glass guy says he can't get here 'til next week with a new window. I should probably get a new 200" 😊
I'm sure that's what Chris is thinking though the 160 is so handy for the smaller jobs where he needs the lighter machine ie: pond/dam clean outs that I know he's itching to get back too....never have enough mud!!!! He's in so much demand it seems they could get the 200 as a extra, since Tim has been operating a machine a bit more lately.
Justin is a DJI Flying Ace. I was waiting for a happy ending where the President of Volvo USA came onto the scene and said 'Chris Guins, you thought you were here to test the new 200. Well today, Volvo would like to present you with this machine in appreciation for the great work you do as an ambassador for our brand'. Chris and Volvo President shake hands. Justin takes a picture in which we can see a tiny tear in the corner of Chris' eye. Then the drone crashes because Justin forgot he was supposed to be controlling it. (Hey, this is real life where complete happy endings only happen at Hollywood.) ;-)
Contractors here like 200/210 size machines for ease of transport you can move them on a triaxle tag trailer, most residential job sites a 200 is the biggest machine for the room you have to work with.
Awesome video bro and Justin, that 200 should fix the 160 front window just nicely but i'm guessing it is quite a bit heaver so maybe not good for smaller jobs the 160 is good at.
I like the location of the windshield wiper & the roof window slides open instead of lifting up & the location of the toolbox...much nicer than the EW 170 wheeled machine I ran Especially having tracks...lol🙂 curious what it weighs
Yeah it reminds me of cheaper excavators, I had this experience when I had a 200 Volvo as a rental while my 220 Volvo was down. The 220s Built more luxurious
Too cool dude!! Love the ending especially. Lmao. Ole lady walked through the den shaking her head again. Like every time. I forgot she was here. I guess I thought she was at squad duty. We be jammin! Thanks for the share. 🙏✌🏻from Va. 🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜
Ahhh, the joys of being a cracking operator and ambassador for Volvo.... You get to play with the new toys!! You could hear a pin drop inside the cab..... Oh, and there is nothing quite like hearing a gravel pile being shifted 😎
Love that Zinc Chromated body on that Granite. Nice touch, as someone is thinking. And the Godwin dump body. Yes Sir, Dunn NC representing quality manufacturing!!!!!
@@marcryvon I was just kidding. We have a long reach 200LC John Deere for that. the 750 would crush the ground where ever those pads traveled. My neighbor owns a topsoil company and they have a 750, a 450, a couple of 400's and some smaller stuff. Plus the 750 burns 200 gallons of diesel a day
@@mandy8211 Hey Teddy, man ,I was just kidding too ! That 750 is so huge, when you mentionned cleaning some ditches with it, I just laughed ! Cool down, man ! I'm with you here not against you, bro !!
Chris, Do you think it was faster than yours overall ? Once again, I had my Bic lighter out, like being at a Motley Crew concert ! Awesome bro and thumbs up !!
2 bars of green on the throttle setting, in my 220 that's 1400rpm. If the 200 is the same that's very quick for such a low setting. Nice machine but next time I'll probably go for the 250. Had a Komatsu 200-8 before the Volvo averaging around 24-25 liter's per hour the Volvo 220 averages between 13-15 depending on the work I'm doing. It's faster and has more power than the Komatsu. I've never owned a Volvo before now but I have 700hrs in the 220 now and I'll be Volvo for life. I only tried the Volvo after watching how smooth they look in these video's.
Come on now your just showing off ,nice machine and seems something that could replace the machine tim broke the windshield on. Cheers from down under.
recon nearly every new Excavator in UK use quick release Buckets so people put bucket on other way around when fill Trench with Concrete from Mixer Truck
I'm honestly a little surprised you didn't upgrade to one of these rather than the new 160 you got, but then I guess this wouldn't be small enough to be pulled behind your own truck, so I could see the logic there.
When he reaches the stone pile the first thing comes out my mouth I would have a bigger bucket. His next sentence I want a bigger bucket I just ran away.
My buddy just got big one like 450k to 480 I cant remember what he said they make good wheel loaders and excavator and life time boom warranty for digging in quarry was selling point
That EC200 is a Sweet looking Machine, for sure 🥰😘 But that MACK Dump truck 18:11 is pretty sweet too 🤩🥳👍✅ The very Last job I had was driving a Mack Readymix truck. 🤔🤭😎
Love it !! Can’t wait to demo this machine . I’m a huge fan of 20 ton machines .. Thanks for sharing Chris love all your videos.. Been watching for over 10 years now I guess..
Since a small boy, I've always wondered... how does the driver get the bucket to 'scrape' horizontally? Is it great skill adjusting the two movements? Or is there a clever balancing doodad?
I don't know why they never had a 200 before now. They also had a 210 but every other manufacturer makes a 200 because the 200 class machine is literally the ultimate all around size and most popular machine for most excavation companies. And once you put a thumb on it I'm sure that you'd find the balance a little bit heavier out there with that bigger bucket.
Brilliant video footage, this is awesome seeing gravel being loaded and handled by the excavator and the operator. How many tons were loaded? That truck awesome looks like it can handle at least 25-30 tons. Keep up the good work
Wondering what type of window tint you use on your machines seems like it holds up good to dust? Also are you using esco shanks and teeth on your ami buckets?
