My only true complaint... As a guy who actually bought God of War skin on 2 accounts, I main Martis lol, is the voice acting in the new skin... The old skin voice actor captured the spirit of Martis well I think.

It might just be me but I like the old one better, this new God of War feels like Martis became an edgy ass 17 year old who wants to slaughter everyone. The skill effects definitely Improved but I feel like they're trying to forcethe "minimalistic" design here, and I will miss the giant ass sword on his 2nd ultimate. Not the biggest fan of the new voice, wish moonton had retained his old deep sexy voice. Appearance wise kinda wished he had more armor like the old one, This new one has too many abs. Other than that it's honestly a big improvement, I will definitely miss the old version of this skin.

I think it would’ve been so much better if they actually got Cian Hoyne to make newer voice lines for the skin as martis being his most iconic voiced hero then it would’ve sold me. But ig there’s a price to pay for improved quality..

For the ult (1st and 2nd phase) the old one looks better in my opinion 2nd skill definitely goes to the new one The new first skill looks deceiving than the old one because of the wind up but the old one's effects to me looks better

Old is better because of his 3d model and his 3d model of his skills, Better aura,Better splash art, better 2nd phase ultimate,better first skill effects! And the only thing revamp is good was the 2nd skill and the idle animation and the new symbol when enemy is low hp

For me the old one is better...mostly the voice lines and his iconic laugh will always have a special place in my heart, it's been 3000 years but this new rework skin still is not a worthy foe. Edit: If they put a special voiceline in every types of kill This might be worth it Example for First blood he have diff voiceline and double kill also diff, triple, maniac and savage will all be diff voiceline Dang must be awesome.

Hope they improve the effects and design in game. Don't like the fact that his new voicelines make him so arrogant, Martis isn't the kind of person to brag, he's the kind of hero who inspires his whole clan to become the greatest. I really expected his voicelines to be inspiring since that skin is where he finally defeated The 300 Worlds.

Things the Old one did better: The Voice lines. The running animation after ult The armour was realistic, not a fantasy armour with neon lights. It had a oomph to it. The fiery colours pallet The old one really felt like a brutal GOD OF WAR !

for ult running animation and the 2nd phase of ult I'll give it to the old one the new one is definitely better for the low hp mark for ult and 2nd. His 1st skill to me is cool but I guess I could rate both old and new equally ok, same goes for the 1st ult cast. for sound effects I'll still go for the old one. Overall great revamp though since it also has idle animations.

Old one is better. Overall, I like the new skill effects of the revamped one. But the voice lines, grunts, effects sound, and mostly, the ult? 0/10. No more epic Cian Hoyne grunts from attacking, using S1 and S2. Especially, no more "ASHURA" from using his ult. Martis is the only reason why I play this game. Even if I have sht load of money, I wouldn't buy this skin. Voice lines and ult is ruined

Pretty sure everyone here has already said it but I prefer the old version's visible big sword when you use his second part of the ult. The second skill I much prefer the newer version, much cleaner and more pronounced effects. While the first skill could go either way but I do like the old version slightly more

The old one feels heavier from its voicelines and some of the notable skill effects...he HAD an amour compared to the 900 abs revamped skin. Good ones are the idle animation, unique voicelines and other effects. I'd say it definitely improved being an "epic" skin. Both are unique but the old one slightly wins for me

Second skill and the running animation after a successfull ult are decent, but the rest is a straightup downgrade, coming from a martis main who mained him since release and has all the skins. The colors on the current one are godly if your phone has a high res display, now theyve just watered down to save gpu power for weaker devices. The 2nd ult having no more heavenly swords, its a shame, and the voice lines are pure, uninspired cringe with a mid tier voiceactor. 4/10
