Hi, planning for road trip from Ahmedabad to Leh in my Taigun 1.0 Topline Automatic. Hope there wouldn't be any issue driving 1.0 engine I'm Hills and that too with auto transmission.
@@niladrisarkar7475 good to know :) I don't have any preference for AT. and, I need it for generally hills and highways. So, shall I go ahead with 1.0 MT, or does the AT is more useful in hills, or both works similar?
I am more concerned about rattling noise as reported by the users from dashboard, door rubber seals or roofliner. Have you experienced that as well on rough roads or high speed
@@pahadipilgrim thank you! I told them during the first service but they said it is normal but the service center is pathetic in terms of their capability. I may have to change the service center next time. It's not a heavy sound though but a feel of the steering could be heard while parking.
@@crazydad4058 yes, just change the service station. Moreover, you can cross check with other companies service stations or any know mechanic for the second opinion👍
For me it's a best buy under this segment. I am driving 1.0 TSI Topline MT and it's power is good enough for hills. Only on steep slope, you find it under power a bit. And this case I also faced while driving Seltos and Creta. So, in my opinion you should go with VW - Nice build quality, spacious cabins, great interiors etc No issues till now
Hows this car for hilly area as i am from Himachal and looking to buy an suv or compact suv under 17 lac hows this as compared to creta .only diff i feel in panaromic sunroof in creta and it has simple otherwise from safety point of view its much safer than any other its rivals in the segment.rest you can tell more sir .
Yes, you are right about the difference. Moreover there are some minor differences in terms of features, boot space and length but vw build quality is superb. I am from himachal too and driving this suv in himachal, most of the times. Covered barot, keylong, jalori, chitkul and no complaint/issues till now. (5k Kms) This year will be covering Leh. In my opinion, as compared to other rival SUVs you can easily go for this one. Performance+Features+Build+Comfort
@@pahadipilgrim thanks alot ji.much needed real time review based on the performance in hilly area specially for himachal.whats the milage you are getting from this till date or any rattling sound when you start it ? And what was the on road price of the varient you are driving?
@@dcorakeshkaushal 12-14 in hilly areas and 18+ on highways. I heard rattling sound issue from many customers but not facing till now. This is TSI topline MT 16.5
I drove this car for more than 500 kms. I am having rattling noises in car while driving in bad roads. Are you having the same issue? Or it will get fixed after sometime after using it
The same issue is there with the kushaq as well. Skoda has replaced the side rubber on the door and the issue is solved now. trying contacting your Service station they will help u out with it
Did you manage to resolve this issue? I own topline and it's having rattling noises on bad roads. I got it checked from VW service station but issue is yet not resolved.
Getting 13-14 Kms as I live in hilly region and 18+ kms/lit. checked one time only on highway. Must improve on highways but if you are driving locally 11-14 is ok, I think.👍
I get 19-21 kmpl on highways and 15-17 in long city runs and 12-14 in short city rides, 9-12 kmpl in bumper to bumper traffic in my Kushaq 1.0 TSI manual
@@deepujaat2886 Han comfortable hai, kushaq ki test drive li thi but on highway only so can't tell about the suspension. Taigun ka use pahadon me hi Kiya hai to abhi tak sahi hai👍
