NEW Weapons, Emotes Banned, LEGO Bears in Update!

Bro I have been so upset for the longest time that they’ve yet to re-enable Creative BR, my friends and I had a blast on there and it’s *so frustrating* that it’s yet to be added back 😭

They need to release UEFN or a simplified version to console so more creators can show their skills!

I feel the need to defend software testers here. Just because a defect gets through, doesn’t mean it wasn’t found. Bugs get prioritised all the time, and it would take a big issue to hold back a release. Or it could be a bug that was introduced in a previous fix… a million different things really. But yes, I imagine there has been a huge push towards Automated testing and, again thanks to time, the scope of those tests is too focused on the code changed and not all the code that could be affected by it. Ultimately I’m gonna say that it’s not a development issue as much as it’s a management issue. Blame them 😂

I find it funny is that MustardPlays is the only one who proud that the Banana Emote is gone due to his fear of Bananas and I knew that he was going to do that in the first place

I remember speaking to some of the guys working on Creative Royale (mainly a studio outside of internal Epic) at Unreal Fest last year, and they explained how crazy difficult it was technically to accomplish, and unfortunately how little it was used. My guess is with layoffs/downsizing, Creative Royale was one of the first things cut 🤷‍♂

I messed around with the new herding animals update in Fortnite earlier & tried to get a mountain cow back to my base since it’s the only passive animal type that doesn’t spawn close to my base. I failed for over an hour because I didn’t have enough animal treats since I don’t have a large corn farm.

They also have a light device and vfx device bug. The light reflection on the light device it crazy

The reason why those errors are happening is because when stuff enters the live version the game it tends to break, even tho it works flawlessly in playtest. Most playtesting is being done at update day

I think we need two devices : Detection device - detects if you’re touching a surface (e.g floor, roof, wall) or if you shot something or was hit my something. And an Advance prop mover or update the prop mover : prop movers could follow a path and select objects in an area around it.

Im gonna guess all the creative bugs on Consoles that prevent a lot of people from entering, item slots being restricted to 2 or 3, and things randomly being deleted have not been fixed judging by the patchnotes

Theres a bug where you cant delete 3 props from the rocket racing galleries. You cant delete the finish line prop. And you cant delete the long Flag with multiple colors on it. Or the small green flag. Im sure they'll fix it soonish.

This Update was terrible for creative 😭

They do all of these updates but have yet to fix bugs with some of their creative galleries such as the Jungle Nature Gallery. For almost a year now the palm trees in the Jungle Nature Gallery wave around like they're those wavy inflatable tubes. There's also problems with many of the pre-made creative Islands water. They need to fix the bugs before releasing anything else into creative!

something that confuses me about the emote ban is that emotes affect the hitbox, for example laugh it up changes the hitbox height. so would the player with the emotes off be able to headshot them even though the head is in a different place on the other players screen?

The only update i am waiting for is that you can pre mod weapons and put them in a spaner or something like that

I used the patchwork devices for one of my maps to make dynamic music, but I would’ve definitely just imported music if I could use UEFN

There Was A horror map that used the patchwork tool to connect Machines together it was cool.

This update is cool and all, but they removed one of the best settings for console which was weapon quick-swap. What I do like is the new setting to turn off the toxic emotes

I think they did that at 2:27 cause it's considering being toxic and some people dont like it and its making new people and people who been playing for a while leave and people who get offended easily EDIT:(Thats my answer to your question.)

Patrick is used for wire connecting mini games in a few horror maps I played

Ooh imagine a twin stick shooter with respawn mechanics where you have to do small objectives to respawn dead teammates and you have you shoot those funny stw zombies and that would be kind of fun

I use patchwork in some of my maps, as don’t have access to UEFN. My crappy computer would not let that happen 💀 I change the tracks whether guards have seen you or not, kinda like that yacht heist template island.

I really like the new gameplay methods, but I wish Fortnite didn't take away the rarity of skins for good :/

They should make the stat manager like show their Health and shields on top of their head (Like better than player marker), and have health and shield numbers like a RPG game

It would be nice if the "stats manager gallery" allowed you to add custom huds on creative maps, such as the hud from OG Chapter 1

honestly i would love if we could make any weapon a mythic or even rename weapons + we need stw weapons in creative. (And a stw update in general lol)

I play on Xbox one, and I have had this very annoying glitch where whenever I try to play normal creative (the one with your own islands) my character is invisible and I can't move. I don't know if I am the only one that has this glitch but I just wanted to put this out there.

I got one question, since Donald Mustard retired from EpicGames for his family does that means that MustardPlays would take up the mentle as the next Chef creative officer of fortnite to fix the Fortnite series itself?

It feels like creative has come to a grinding halt. Stuff is added every once in a while. Still, a ton of bugs and creative publish is still not public. Usless changes like the UI were extremely annoying and provided nothing great in return. Besides that, it's hard to find stuff now. I have made many maps that took many hours even days, and with their inability to fix bugs, these maps unfortunately are no longer able to be played as intended. I'm excited and disappointed when I get on creative. There also needs to be a console UEFN so the console creators can create a relistsic FN terrain just like the PC players can. Huge imbalance in creative right now.

They added the setting for the emotes because there was controversy around them where the emotes kinda hurt some people’s feelings, which many people (*cough* just the toxic players *cough*) don’t understand

I'm very happy about that emote thing, i would constantly get killed amd someone would fo the donkey laugh and that completely ruined the vide me and my brother and dad had when we were playing. It's nice to have a option to tey to minimize the about of toxicity you see.
