I've just been to look at one of these that's just arrived at my local dealer. Looks a lot of mower for the money. Lots heavier than my Toro Timemaster. 4L fuel tank and a powerful engine. To buy or not to buy? Brand new to the market. Trouble is the Toro just isn't up to the commercial work I'm giving it (and not powerful enough)
Well the Timemaster is a domestic spec mower. The turfmaster is built for commercial work. That said the Timemaster as of now has a lot more power than the turfmaster. Baffling I know. All Weibang stuff is designed for pro use. Lot bigger engine as you say. And they don’t seem to give up on development so if there is an issue you can bet they’ll sort it out asap. Yes it’s new so maybe wait a few months. And let any issues be ironed out. From the brief videos on the machine it does look very good. Time will tell.
Now the big question. What does it weigh? Why did weibang go away from the counter rotating blades and shaft drive of the last concept virtue 76? Hope this one actually hits the market.
It’s coming next spring. They tried two blades same size but didn’t find it better than the Toro turfmaster. So tried different designs and they seem happy with this idea. Massive engine compared to the Toro ones too. Think it’s just under 100kg.
