You can buy like pins, where you can crimp the horn cable on, and the push that pin in the white socket, so it's original again, that way it's plug and play again
Smoke might be oil residue left in the exhaust burning off.as for the horn. You might have to bypass the plug. Or go to a scrap yard to get a plug with wires long enough to splice in to your car
So the way I did it was I bought a Toyota horn contact plate. It looks like a little rod and in goes behind the hub (you will find a little slot for it) but it touches the exposed metal part on the back of the hub creating a ground for the horn button. The I ran a wire in that Toyota contact piece through the steering column down to a black plug on the right corner near the gas pedal and tapped a similar color wire to the one you saw. I think it was black and green. s
Not sure if you ended up getting tuned yet but you 100% should figure out what the oiling/smoking issue is before you tune. For example if your turbo is blown and you get tuned you will probably have to get retuned after swapping turbos (if you're tuner accepts it at all)
I think bronze wheels are simply a fad that will play itself out soon enough, but since Subbie's and bronze/gold wheels have always gone hand in hand, I think this was a good choice.
Just run a permanent live to steering wheel or splice of an ignition live to the steering wheel to the yellow wire on the horn the earth is the steering wheel so will work when pressed.
Omg the wheels are 🔥 I think just might be the next setup for me. Was curious what your te37 specs were since you said they were too aggressive with you taking the flairs off?
Is it smoking only on cold start? Or is it constant? If it's only on start up it is most common that it's a head gasket. A head gasket leak will cause coolant to get into your intake/exhaust. The smoke is it getting burned off.
Hey, I just got a new clutch for my 2005 wrx wagon CGM. Any how they put in a stage 2 racing not a stage 2 daily driver. Any feed back on this scenario would be helpful. Would anyone know what my chances are on selling this and getting the daily driver. Should I just drive this? Keep in mind I'm in my mid 40s so don't really need a race car at this point. I am pushing 310whp/310tq on a 2.0 Also I have 444.4 final drive tran full exhaust, turbo... Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. I'm thinking to take it to Wicked Big Meet this summer in Connecticut (If it happens) virtual WBM HAHA) Please let me know what's up. Thanks guys, great show.
