love these.. I have a pair of black Double Shot C-MP Sherman.. and I really like the narrow Barrie last,, but I wish I got a brown instead.. too dressy of a vibe still.. but these, look great.. I think I like the M1 more now.. less bulk.. I got the olive Lineman Cutters from DV and very happy with them. My only gripe with this is the outsole choice.. I wish they did the commando half sole.. makes more sense with this rugged look. everything else about this is great.. that leather especially.. I love the toe cap on these.. I'm fine with the eyelets too. I think it looks great

I have these! Very interesting leather for sure. Whites are out of the box the most comfortable boot I’ve owned to date. Very happy with these. Same size too!
Nice. But I do have to say that the Truman stone ramblers are made and finished so much better than Whites. The finishing and attention to detail are way ahead of Whites but retain the same chunky pnw feel.
I completely agree that Truman has better finishing. Prettty much all boot companies finish their boots better than whites. As for the Trumans being better made. I disagree. The white’s have a much more durable construction method and a lot more labor and time intensive process to make them (if that matters to anyone). But it also has the price that reflects that. I would take a Truman over whites Goodyear welted stuff everyday, though.
@@aChannelAboutBootslove your first statement. 100% accurate. Whites finishing seems to be getting worse and worse. They are trying to dethrone Red Wing’s top spot of awful QC.
It is. Thankfully I can get the boot off by only removing the laces from the top eyelet. Drives me crazy when I have to do more. I have a pair of 8 inch boots with all eyelets that I really regret.
Weird that you say whites won’t let you do custom builds in the 430. Both the C350 Cruiser and C350 Cutter’s I bought from their site were built on the 430.
@@aChannelAboutBoots ya I understood. It’s just strange that Whites is like that. Clearly they have 430’s and use them. Strange behavior on their part.
@@toneohm yeah you can get it at Baker’s. They’ll also do an 8 inch MP where directly from whites they wouldn’t let me. The tradeoff is that the one from whites was made and shipped to me in a little under a month and Bakers is quoting 4 months on the low end. Kinda seems silly. But I guess if you could get everything at Whites for a shorter lead time nobody would order from Baker’s.
Awesome boots. Don't really car for DRs return policy. You get something with a poor fit there is no return for a full credit. Just store credits. I'm not willing to take a shot at a pair of boots when it can be hit and miss on the size. Enjoy ur boots.
Thanks for watching it! I’ve returned boots for a full refund. Not just store credit. It also says that they do that on their site. Other than final sale stuff you absolutely should be able to return for a refund for getting the wrong size.
