@@efeloteishe4675 I was thinking about integrating GPT-4o API and some base script the AI would use... But idk, I've tried asking ChatGPT to organize my shaders unto folders and subfolder and it gave pretty weird suggestions
That's not how AI work it's mainly just to search for information on your computer or online you cannot use it to organize files and folders for you lol it won't do things for you like this. It may be able to in future but right now it's functioning at just information and small stuff like auto generated pictures, because even they don't fully understand the neural network yet and it's going to keep growing so everyone's still getting the hang of it right now. Honestly the way computers are it's just going to take longer to do that using artificial intelligence anyway because you have to describe to it what to do so it's best to stick to doing that manually creating some folders, open a window in another tab, then highlight and drag them to your new folders simples.
Apple is even lazier than microsoft. Even if "AI features" might come, they are behind the game. At least microsoft added a language model on the web and integrated it into Windows + there are already some AI features for Photos app. Apple NEVER thinked about that. + Apple is so lazy. They did a web version of facetime for Android, while Google did a lot of apps for iOS, like Google Meet, Translate, etc...
That isn't the official updates preview is just for testing features which is far more unstable. There is no hurry or race to get the next new version either you aren't going to get an awful lot of stuff each year for each version because they had to shrink the size of the updates, because they're 100% updating using the internet that's more prone to file degradation. Even more so after the issues with 22h2 at the end of 2022 because it was still a bit too big. We literally just got 23h2 in september like only 10 months ago but really a lot of people don't update until a few months later when enough bugs are fixed and drivers are updated so really we only got it 4 months ago. I do the same so we're only going to be on the next version for 6 months of the year but it's no big deal because it's just a few feature changes they have to roll out quite gradually. They won't keep making new versions forever either we have more versions for windows 11 this time because the updates over the internet have to be smaller. So once they don't need to do anymore versions we're just left with the final product until they move onto windows 12, where no doubt we'll also need a new computer. Trust me it got tiresome after windows xp lol. It works for the purposes we need it for now for current technology but that's all it is.
to be fair the current copilot is literally a web app as well and im pretty sure all it does is opens a pop up in the background and thats how its able to do commands hence why you always gotta press yes when copilot wants to do something like how roblox when you hit play in the browser it just opens the app and plays the game in there
Yeah because it connects to edge and we need to sign into a microsoft account to use other features, they're just separating it from windows probably because of the privacy concerns and we aren't going to use it all the time definitely not most of us middle class folk.
So in terms of functionality not much has changed. It just looks different. Can Win 11 atleast move taskbar to the side of the screen or customize start menu to be useable again without external apps in this new version?
they still not trying to integrate and merge the show more options that show the old windows 10 right click option and they should have redesign it from the beginning with the new windows 11 right click . shame on microsoft.
Why wont microsoft update the "open with" and "save as" windows to use the new explorer design? Is there a reason or they just dont care that its inconsistent? Also, on those the drag and drop to the address bar still works so I suppose they are an older version?
I guess because it's a simple design windows has always done it like that because it uses far less resources and you just have to click and that's it, so it doesn't need to be anything more than it is. Maybe in future when quantum computers are released commercially they can create a heavier more aesthetic design but until then it's doing you a favor by being light on resources.
@@Harteo3917 Then why update anything? Is it just a facade, so the stupid customers who barely understand anything will think its a cool os, and everything else can remain old and ugly, just because it works? Having a consistent design wouldnt eat up resources, it would just say "hey we care about how the thing we sell to you looks like". Microsoft barely touches anything other than the most used programs. Its literally windows xp with a new desktop, file explorer and settings app.
@persona5strikers We're getting windows for free now whereas up to windows 7 we had to pay for it like £50 to £150 a pop depending if it was the home or business version, so i think they're doing a great job considering they had to find other ways to make money instead. Most of the time i don't even use those features so i can ignore it. Every next windows is based on previous windows too yup but unlike in the past we aren't going to get drastic changes to the next ones anymore because of how they need to create smaller updates now. Windows 11 doesn't look far too different from windows 10 really. I know they're appealing hard to the FOMO culture of the current young generations but there is none ignore it because soon enough we'll be on windows 12 then windows 13 etc then go through who knows how many more computers and they'll get that soon enough. It's more about selling technology and keeping windows working on the latest computers because they are the number 1 used operating system still.
@@Harteo3917 I fully understand that, but it would not be hard at all to keep basic things like this consistent. Im not asking to completely remake the entire os, just to keep basic components consistent. Windows 11 was released years ago and we still have a ton of remnants from windows 10 which could be updated so easily, but they choose not to. I refuse to believe it would take longer than an hour.
@@persona5strikers Maybe in the next few windows because it's starting to go into using artificial intelligence built into computers already they've already created cpus using AI next they need to do that for memory and graphics cards and they can handle a lot more processes. Computer technology is probably going to start being different in the next few decades.
love these videos but problem for me is I just use my windows Pc for PURE gaming only so most of these features are not any use to me but thats My opinion. I generally clean up my system completely with the built in tools that M-soft allow. No 3rd party don't like connecting my phone to pc in general also I have a iPhone so doesn't really apply to me unless M-soft implement that but the latter if M-soft do change the start menu I hope they update it further to remove the mobile section of the start menu and have it the way it now currently. :)
its fixed again, but still the requirements are the same, the uefi thing and tpm thing canont have just a requirement of checking it, also it must be compatible with direct 10x again, even windows 7 aero is more realistic & lightweight than this.
This just looks and works like some kind of bootleg version of KDE. And that "Open With" dialog is unnecessarily complex. I guess even microsoft thinks Linux is the future.
We're months away from that yet lol we've only just got 23h2 in september, but do not update to a new version right away wait until at least march to give everyone time to create up to date drivers, or february if they push through an urgent security update. Including microsoft themselves who now create a few of their own drivers such as amd graphics drivers. All you're getting is just a few new features throughout the year for each new version it means nothing so you can wait to update.
They could’ve used that extra space to show all apps without having to go into a seperate menu. W11 has made some incredibly questionable design decisions
@@ZACH_B0T The start menu should have been made to where it can be resized and left in all apps mode like we ccan do on windows 10 by default! My guess would be they made the start menu that big because in the future they want everything to be touchscreen an for us to not be able to download, configure, or modify anything.
@billyguthrie3176 Nah then how would we play games without a keyboard? lol and the functionality is needed for programmers so the ability to configure things has to be there. The future is quantum computers but until we have a future like star trek the next generation lol our computers need to remain relatively how they've been since the 1990s using some of the same functionalities. For the start menu i think it's that big for him because he has his icons big, and i can see that because it has the same spacing between the icons as what i currently have on mine, look at the icons on his desktop. These small features haven't rolled out for me yet but i definitely don't want that attached piece for phone link that i'll never use i hope they create a setting so we can hide it.
@@TheVMUser3 microsoft dont listen to the statements that include the word "should", so I wont say ms should update windows 11 phone app to work with ios 12.5.7. it would be great if they did it.
what the hell is that, thank you microsoft but i'm done with windows. I switched fedora linux for like 1 weeks ago and it is reaaaally better for me, I adapted within like 5 hours lol.
