That mini horse trailer was awesome. Seen one years ago in pawlee kansas at a trailer place and they wouldn't sell it because it was just a display and not rated or tagged. I had sheep and it would have been awesome to move them around.
So I’ve owned a CM body for about five years now. I can personally tell you the powder coating process is garbage. The first week I had the body the powder coat started cracking. After five years one of my boxes rotted out and the powder coat flaking like crazy. It looks like the bodies 20 years old. And I really don’t even work my truck. Their bodies look pretty but that’s where it stops
Smaller stock trailers to haul smaller stock. Why buy the heavier, less fuel efficient, full size stock trailers if you want to haul sheep or goats around rather than cattle or horses. I know several people that would love that.
I would 100% love to hear the renter story as i am thinking of starting a new small business and on❤would be a rental house possibly a vacation rrental
11/14/23 Much enjoy your videos taking viewers to these industrial shows..Auto tools, trailors, tractors/implements etc. Today you mentioned your next several projects related to rental property...at your lake front area..so we will see misc land/tree clearing for concrete slab work then building (?) &/or moving a pre-fab house onto this cc slab. Since you already own the land in a Rural setting, this makes sense. How about doing an urban/city commercial property?...or Renovating a pre-exhisting commercial building in your area? 🤔
Heard there’s some Airbnb rental nightmare stories also, same type of scenario no money can’t get them out typical landlord, nightmare, bullshit but you are wise to have many different streams of income
As a person that has been doing real estate for 30 yrs, now is not the time to be investing. It’s at the top of its cycle and going to crash in most markets due to low interest rates to sucker people in to over leveraging, then pulling the rug with higher interest rates for longer. Also there’s an Airbnb apocalypse coming where markets, city’s and towns are passing bans on air bnd’s.
The best thing, and money, I ever spent was going to a full contractor truck setup. My current is a F550 with a Scelzi SuperContractor Body. The amount of equipment I can carry in the truck as well as material and tow capacity is unreal. To say its made me more efficient is an understatement.
I have an f350 four-door long box and a 20 foot enclosed trailer. You give me a field I can put your spring system in, install your septic system and build your home. From the solid poured walls to the ridge cap. While never needing another tool I don't have on site. My truck as a utility bed and a ladder rack you can put 2 ton on if you want.
@@ericculver9700 No one set up will ever have everything that’s needed. Is what it is. I used pickups for years. They worked ok. Just dont have the capacity I need any more. One ton’s are to light for the equipment I have.
Timorese, David City Nebraska. Their marketing guy Tanner lives in a farm house on one of my managed farms. I don’t have a sidexside but that little Delco would be handy. We raise goats and move them from one pen to the other with a full size
I have done the rental thing before and had a few losses. The worst story I heard of was a former co worker (gm of a fast food restaurant) he got caught stealing from the company. When the cops went to the house he was renting they found out he skipped town but not before taking all the fixtures out of the house. There were no light fixtures left, no toilets, no sinks every single fixture was gone. Think that beats your appliances. Would love to hear your story.
The short term rental thing is awful for the neighborhood. We have several in our neighborhood and they are obnoxious. I personally just go to a hotel or take the rv when traveling.
I'm in the market for a truck body now so I appreciate you showing some of those. I've looked at the CM /PJ /Dakota bodies but I kinda want something a little different. I'm really looking for a skirted flat bed but I wouldn't mind some drop sides.
AirBnB..? Be ready for a lot of disappointment. Too many horror stories to list here. I enjoy watching you and your crew developing properties, but I highly recommend finding another way. Wish you all the best. Thanks for being an inspiration and a great spirit.
How’s that overpriced diesel fuel that you purchased working out for you ? Diesel fuel went down quite a bit since you purchased it at the beginning of the war😂
@fuzion430journey3 VT depends on where your at one town is 3.50 a gal for gas another is 3.10 Diesel is 4 something I think like 4.79 I gotta run to town and I'll look when I drive by. Only run my tractor on diesel so I don't buy much
