I remember when Dodge trucks came back in the 90,s That was the coolest thing. That 1970 Chevelle ss my dream car very nice car. Good luck on the new truck.
Love the new truck, men will always trade fuel mileage for power, great choice. I am gonna try and look you up at cruising the coast, keep checking your you tube messages on this video.
@@smithworx1091 it's a shame that I will not make it to cruising the coast, I live 15 miles from Moss Point, will have to catch up with you another time.
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼…………………………………………………………Dude, that truck is SWEET! I really like the blacked out look, she looks mean! I kept my 1999 3500 for sentimental reasons when I bought my 2500. I just can’t sell my fat bottomed girl! LOL I want to make a “ hot rod “ out of her, but I always find something else to spend money on, ( Harleys mostly) but she just keeps on keeping on!
@@PurpleNovember the ride is great loaded and unloaded, I think it makes a difference when loaded heavy. I’m not impressed with the ride height lowering portion of this option. It’s not convincing when it says it’s lower for hooking up trailers and nearly impossible to see it move up or down. Definitely not what I was anticipating. I’ll have to put a video up on my channel to see if the camera can pick it up.
@@slamsshenanigans2296 That sucks about not making a difference hooking up a trailer, that was my whole interest with that air ride system. Do you have any reason to believe there’s something not installed correctly or bad parts from factory?
Nice! Go all in I say. Especially when it ain’t my money lol. And I get katzskinz for my seats. Ya can make it “semi-custom”. That’s my 2 cents anyhow.
The 4500 are too! I don’t own one but a friend has one with a hook lift. He ended up putting an air suspension system on it and absolutely loves it! I think the suspension was around 8 or 10k back in 2017 or 18. The hook lift and some beds cost more than the truck but he says it’s well worth the versatility. He’s wanting to do the same thing with a 3500 so he can get diff locks and use it in the mountains on some of those jobs. Knowing him, he’ll have flatbeds with snowmobiles and atvs or dirt bikes.
That’s Jackson Browne not the eagles lol. That’s a sweeeet looking truck!! Stoked for ya. I’m pouring some injector cleaner in my truck while watching this video lol.
@@smithworx1091 I’m trying hot shot secret. They had a deal on it. I bought some stanadyne as well. That’s what I always use. But the HSS has good reviews. Huge bottle for like 21 bucks. We will see!
Be careful with your wish list of putting the cargo light rear camera in for hooking up your goose neck. Friend of mine has one and with his fuel tank, the view is blocked. Might want to put the tank in and use your phone to take a preview picture to see if your will work or not
That’s not that uncommon for a fuel tank/tool box to block the view of the ball. Most people I know with setups like that still use the camera to put front of the gooseneck where it needs to be. Sometimes they use those little fiberglass flagpoles. It just takes some practice. Amazon has simple backup cameras too that can be mounted anywhere and plugged into a 12v outlet when needed.
I've worried about that. I know in my 2500, the ball is only like a foot away from the fuel cell. Not sure how it will be on the 3500 with an 8 foot bed.
Great to see you taking a break and getting away from the house and work. I have a 2011 like your new one except it’s the base model with 68RFE and manual transfer case and 3:54 gears. I get in the upper 12’s to mid 14’s empty and 10 to low 12’a towing. Congratulations on the truck brother, I’m really happy for you!!! How soon before your shirts are ready? Are you going to have a business email for RU-vid stuff or direct messaging ?
Thanks a lot buddy. I've got one more logo to show on the shirts. They just didn't have them ready yet before we left town. I will probably just do my personal email and ship the shirts myself.
@@smithworx1091 Sounds good. That’ll be the first merch I’ve ever done for a RU-vid channel. I guess I can be a little picky who I support. lol You remind of past clients, the ones I would do everything I could to support because I knew they were going somewhere and how hard and smart they worked. I found some notes on the shark fin for the thumbs. It’s to complicated to explain in RU-vid and it’s machine specific. I’m thinking the hydraulic saw might be better anyway.
Thanks buddy. Everybody brings their old cars and hot rods down to the gulf coast of Mississippi and rides up and down the coast. Lasts for several days
That’s so awesome to see you getting a new truck!!! Smart getting another truck right now, and keeping the old one. For what you need the 4.10’s are perfect, especially for bigger tires.
Nice rig Lindsey, I hope you have many years of trouble free use with it. You can always get airbags on it if you need that extra tonnage capacity. But now you're right back up in the lead on Sam 😂😅😅
I just found mine at an equipment dealer not far from where I live. It's hard to find a gooseneck that's rated for that kinda weight. Marketplace might be your best bet
It's awesome watching your company grow and getting new equipment. Have you thought about swapping your bed out for a workbox bed? Check out letsdig18's new truck he swapped the bed out on.
@@smithworx1091Karley drive the new truck yet? From everything I can see, you deserve a wife like her and she deserves a husband like you. Plus all the RU-vid views. Lol
@@smithworx1091 I get that. My wife loved the sound of my 2002 5.9 with open exhaust. It was a fully loaded Laramie. My wife loved to sleep in those nice leather seats. The newer trucks don’t have the sound the old ones do.
