Sorry to hear that. Your first MMO tends to be something special that you never forget (like a first love). While NW is actually reasonably decent, can’t help but wish you started on something like FFXIV, WoW, Guild Wars 2 etc 😢
@haylonix or more OG ones like FFXI. FFXI was my first one and it was glorious. The overland difficulty was one of the most balanced I had ever seen. (Played MMOs since I was 6, I'm 31 now) Played everything from Ultima Online, WoW, FFXI to GW and GW2, Rift, BnS, etc. So many lol

Actually they're not. Numbers have been going down for almost a year now. Obviously the numbers are going down less and less because some people will never quit.
@@flyingmatteo89 maybe I am being to hopeful but on the line graph the peaks are getting larger. I myself am returning because I am done with everything in the Elden Ring DLC and I know a few others who did the same. So it will be interesting to see if next month numbers go up as PC players return to prepare for revamp. To be honest I am hyped so I may have some kind of bias.
looking forward to giving this game a second chance. I liked it a lot. A bit barren player wise. Also didn't like the fact that transmog cost money. But its on my to do list for October.
I like Diablo 4 and play it every Season, but I don't get my multiplayer fix from it. You have to go on an external LFG to find a group for anything other than Helltide. ARPG with a heavier multiplayer element is a good selling point to me. That said, I am a New World veteran, so I know it's not an ARPG.
i just dont know if its going to bring enough players. delos is so dead rn. no opr que popping nobody farming bosses/doing group open world stuff. u cant even make any gold because there arent any players to buy items. i love this game and have recently hopped back on after last playing for a month or so after the last expansion. this game lives and dies with how many players are currently playing, but i just dont see them being able to get old players reinterested let alone enough new ones to keep the world alive
I have just over a thousand hours on this game. I stopped playing just before the arrival of Mounts! They messed with the stability for the class's .....oh ...and fishing got weak there at the end ! Shame there not letting us test the raid and open pvp zone with there track record of buggy releases I'm worried the raid and zone will be a buggy mess its a shame because I think the game is great its just been mismanaged and needs regular content to succeed I hope we get a road map and content in 2025
NW is a wonderfull game but the only change since the original release was basicaly mounts, plus 3 weapons, runes and artifacts items, and this is just not enough. Devs are lame and simple dont give af about players opinion, in fact the massive amount of players preffer the PVP content of the game and devs have been focusing on PVE content all the way and that's why the game is dead now, cause there's nothing significantly new for the competitive scenario which carried the game for so long. Players are tired of playing the same game modes, the same maps, the same zones, the same war/outpost/arena, with the same weapons combinations and spells that are so little diverse, so people just dropped off. Now they have the game for the PVE casual players that they were aiming since day one. In simple terms, they got what they deserve. It's sad cause as I said it's a wonderfull game that I have enjoyed 2.417 hours in it, but as a PVP player who enjoys playing mage I was tired to not having any options to play unless fire + ice for YEARS, without any new electric, earth, wind, arcane or whatever offensive magical weapons. They kept forcing mages to play variations with fire + rapier or blunderbust or some sh*t like debuffing void gauntlet, that was so f*cking lame!!! I'm off the game about an year now and i'm already mad just remembering the struggle and the fact that they never gave us new magical weapons all those years when they had a lot of physicall weapon from the start. Nothing against having more physicall damage weapons, I was always in favor of daggers, maces and crossbows for exemple, but why not introducing more magical stuff? It's weird how they didnt have enough work to show us, coming from a big company like Amazon, It always seemed like the devs were a small and incompetent group, never passing confidence to the player community. It's just sad. I really hope NW have a great come back, but if they dont change the devs and put a lot of work in the game, it will keep failing.
NW first conception was a sandbox pvp full loot with player economy just like albion online. It was casuls tears and pvers enjoyers who destroy this game. Its ironic to see that pvp still the most played game mode even now.... Hope pve cry babies dont try to destroy Ashes of creation too.
There is no doubt in my mind New World is a better MMO than T&L in every way. Issues with NW start after hundreds if not thousands of hours... T&L is just not where it's at from the beginning.
@tristanburgos1 if tab target combat is your thing, then listen to others' suggestions. NW has alot of issues, but the action combat it uses is modern, not a combat system (tab target) created 10+ years ago. NW is 100% worth the price you will pay for it... its so crazy to see people with hundreds or thousands of hours to give a steam review saying it's not. NW has issues that may or may not be fixed in the future, but it is still a super fun game.
@@trutoyrslf dude the game went from 1 million to 3 thousand for a reason, Why even the loyal people are leaving. I agree the combat system is modern and great, but no content or balances or fixing any bugs. We still have the same OPR map.
Channel is actually doing way better. But what you’re referring to is more algorithm driven than anything else. My video view counts tend to jump around because I tend to jump around. Thats why I make videos for fun.
