Hyssop has been going for 0.51 to 0.80 for buy orders on Maramma. You can gather 2000+ during a Brimstone Sands acid pool chest run. That's 1020g ‐ 1600g.
Another piece of advice that you didn't mention: with the music tradeskill you can give yourself some nice buffs, including increased gathering yield and rarity
Yah you can get a poo ton of that in far NW brimstone... It respawns so quickly and it truly baffles me that it goes for as much as it does on Valhalla
