Fantastic. Congratulations. The special quality of their foxtrot, the special beauty, is unique in the world. This is a very classical couple, with perfect technique, and a deep sense of music.
I certainly congratulate the winners for a performance well done (no matter what federation). It is always tough to become world champion. But wouldn’t it be so much nicer having a full audience for a professional world championship under one joint dance federation rather than so many empty chairs? The dancers and the audience would all benefit.
Don’t hate. At least they’re not letting Ballroom die! I love Dusan and take lessons with his coach, Luca Barricchi, and I competed at the WDSF world championships this weekend. They don’t do much different. Dusan is better in his feet and movement, Kolya is better in his posture and shapes. Both very worthy champions doing their best.
This is a Pro-Am organization. Do not confuse it with The WDSF, the World Dance Sport Federation, which is the premiere professional organization. The winners of the WDSF Standard competitions are better dancers than the couple you see here. The WDO exists to make money from entrance fees, as many amateur dancers want to compete. The Danish couple who competed in a WDSF competition in Toronto are recognizably better than the couple here, even though they did not place first in the competition. The WDO wants you to believe that they are using the judging standards as past Blackpool events, but they do not.
You just don’t know much about dancing if u’re saying Pasquale Farina is better than Dusan. No disrespect to Pasquale, but it’s just a different level of quality P.S. I’m from the wdsf
the celebratory dance...tired, not inventive. didn't show off their full capabilities, did not fully execute some of sequences according to the WDSF Technique books, were not fully present and connected in their dance..it seemed as though they knew they had done well, and that is all that came across in their dancing. The full expression of the joy of dancing was not there
Dusan is more refined than Darin in musicality. Darin is more athletic though. I actually appreciate that Dusan looks like he could be comfortable in both federations instead of the constipated look that has become popular in wdc, but without the sometimes crazed excess of some wdsf amateurs.
@@therealgigglebop the discussion is about these two dance moments. The purpose of my statement was to let dancers know that it is the dance they are doing now that 8is remembered, not the one ten minutes ago. If you look at both specific dance performances, that concept becomes clear.
