@@stan7816 Unless it's a build guide for a detailed RPG. More just overviews of classes than any sort of "guide". But sure these vids are great overviews.
RuneScape, was good then Runscape 3 came out and killed 50-60% player base, wow was decent then since WOTLK.. it slowly died down poor changes disgn issue and it just died since then not died but declined, ESO ess decent for me on launch but I havnt played much into new expcs to see what changed or anything good or if it gotten better, if this game makes good decisions and is involved with the community then they may succeed
Is there a site to search companies to join outside of the game ? Its great that you can see all the companies on your server in-game, but you cant request/apply to join them. I'd like to join a company for a more active base.
Can you still pick your first faction even if they have the most territory? I know you can't if you already have one and want to change later on... Edit: Yes you can. I just confirmed myself =)
my only question is, do the weapons and armors all look the same, or do they look different? I get that they all have the same stats, so what matters now are the looks. . . can't find an answer to this tho...
The final tier is different. Syndicate is plague doctors, marauders is that full mask skeleton crusader armor and the covenant look like witch hunters.
So what town is considered the main town? Mauraders and Syndicate control the world im in. The Mauraders control most of the lower levels areas with Syndicate controlling the higher level areas. I just started the game and am only level 10 so not sure what the best pick would be. I feel like Mauraders will be an immediate boost since I will be in those areas for the foreseeable future. Both of those two control 5 areas so im not sure what is best. Thanks in advance for any advice.
On my server US East Topan, Syndicate are constantly fighting the Marauders. Covenant just dont exist lol. One guild is running Everfall and my guild is running Windsward. Marauder is running Monarch's Bluff and recently Covenant is running First Light. I stopped leveling for a bit and we were constantly defending our fort and taking over thiers vice versa.
EU Central, Ismarus Theta. We are Covenant, and the light of The Spark spreads far and wide across Aeternum. Atm we have a truce with the Marauders, cause the Syndicate are salty trashtalking cunts and we share a common hatred toward them.
I'm playing the underdog faction on my server. But to be honest...HOLY CRAP my faction is full of a bunch of toxic a-holes! I literally want to just turn my faction chat off when I play and this makes me sad. Bad thing is I really don't wanna change factions but dang if I ain't tempted. Other than this I'm having an incredibly great time playing this game. It's very solidly made for some with ADD rofl! It's so fun for right now I rarely wanna do anything else but play.
Problem is everyone will wanna be on the winning side.. and 2 fraction will Allways have less player's so if you got a faction to that has less player's your at a disadvantage
As long as you have the dye, you can color your armor any way you'd like. But if you're buying the faction gear it will always start out with their colors.
So there is an option to just play the game for PVE and not join a faction. That would an interesting way to play the game and form some sort of group of players that are Factionless.

None of the factions sound good to me. The name "Marauder" doesn't exactly convey honor and self improvement. Sounds more like roving bands of cutthroat raiders. "Syndicate" of course is just organized crime. and with "Covenant" there's the problem of religious castes most often portrayed in games and movies as fanatical zealots. Wow.. probably the worst design I've ever seen in a MMO. How many people are going to play New World, pick a faction, then realize that the company they wanted to join is a different faction, and be completely fucked because of it? Based on my experience, the game doesn't really tell you that the decision can result in you being forced to delete your character or never PvP with your friends or desired company. Glad I looked this up before choosing. I'll just sit on the decision until I decide on a company. A 4 month wait is ridiculous.
He didn’t mention it in the video but you get one free change that you can use that doesn’t require you to wait 120 days. It’s even shown in the video when he clicks to join the covenant.
You know that after you´ve chosen a faction, you can change it again with no waits, but afterwards if you´d like to change it, you´ll have to wait 120 days, right?
@@itsari3542 Yes, that doesn't change that it's a bad design. I didn't even get into the fact that the faction choice is tied to your main story quest as well. Which means, they force you into making the choice, in order to continue the main quest line. That locks you out of dozens, if not over 100 additional quests. If you don't pick a faction, you only have town board quests to do. The ability to respec that decision is just a band-aid on a festering wound of a design choice.
Utter clown. Basically half of the world's already up are either LOW - MEDIUM population with basically 0 wait time. The full ones are the world's streamers are on. Not to say that their 2000 pop limit is a serious design flaw though...
